yeah. people still say lynch on MU even though it was retired. MU mods are nowhere near as strict as MS mods. You say lynch on MS and you get lynched (banned) immediately by MS.

There’s a core difference. I responded to an L-1 inquiry for my soft. I followed the golden rule. REF was at L-1 and still refused to claim. So now I’m going to be put at L-1 again. I’m not going to claim if REF doesn’t claim. Period. It’s a double standard. If you want to lynch me, lynch me blind.

In the old days it was a game where the passengers of a car got out of the car at a red light, ran around, then got back in before the light turns green. I think the term originally comes from British naval history and had more to do with English-speaking officers and Chinese-speaking crews having bad communication and that causing general chaos and mayhem under pressure than anything racist.
