okay so I don’t buy into all that but even if i do for u that one, i still don’t understand 2 things. why isn’t pies slanderer not scummy but my action is, and why is it okay that he was pressurin shining for a CC when his role was just CCed. Ok letts add a third one in there, why is my veto role more scummy than my confirmable benefactor role?

Your Siren is effectively an RB on the mod-confirmed town player in this game. Pie's and Wylted's Slanderer is not only mod confirmed to be in this game (from OP: "Other roles can also increase, deduct, or transfer favor."), but it was previously established that there would be multiple of these roles in the game (again, from the OP: "Multiples of these roles exist in the game."), several of which had already been claimed.

As for the Benefactor, you get full credit for being able to confirm your role, though I'll point out that a) you haven't yet, and b) scum could have favor-distributing roles.

mago makes a good point earlier tho about the inactives. unless we honestly think all the scum r just inactive that being the main reason to lynch kohai feels kind of weak

I think we ignore inactives at our peril. I don't think the scum team is just two inactive players, but one wouldn't surprise me. I also still can't get past awesome's weird activity spike at the end of DP1.

I agree, their being on the same night stands out a bit to me as well, I'm just hesitant to jump on the CC train for that reason alone. As for your questions, I don't expect you to defend yourself against this. I know that's an impossible lift, that's why my gutread is that I don't think you'd claim this as scum. I'm also not just going to ignore them or treat you being town as a given because you claimed this role. It would not be a first for someone to claim what looks like a scummy role and try to get towncred off of the WIFOM thinking that stems from that. If Thoth had claimed Redirector, I would have felt similarly in that instance. Mikal hadn't claimed his role, either. I get being frustrated about this, but you're acting like I'm being inconsistent in how I'm applying it.

My point is that I can't remove you from POE. That's it. I'm not scumreading you, I don't have my vote on you, but I can't put you in my town pile. I don't get what's frustrating about this.

Also, let's be clear about this: one of those two Slanderers (Pie) is in my POE, too, and I have other reasons to townread Wylted (mainly based on his Miller claim). So the idea that I'm just dismissing the negative utility of their roles for no reason doesn't hold up.

Reasons for Banana being Scum:

1. It doesn’t make sense for a Townie to receive the role she received. If the Emperor is mod confirmed town, why give town the ability to veto that. That’s a direct counter to a mod confirmed town.
2. All the custom roles tied to this game have unique names that do not show up on any site. You’d have to believe that REF custom named all of these roles besides ONLY Banana’s, which makes zero sense
3. Behavior. I did a quick iso of Banana. She has only placed 2 votes prior to this DP. The first was on Mago who was the wagon on DP1. The second was Thoth, who was the wagon on DP2. And both votes had no explanations besides “they seem to be the lynch.”
4. Behavior. She OMGUS’s me and joins the wagon that was already created on me vs going for Mago who she basically lets go with a slap on the wrist of “you’re dumb.”
5. Behavior. In the post where she describes complements to all the flipped roles and claimed roles, she leaves out that I claimed Strengthener and that it counters multiple roles that have flipped.
6. Behavior. She’s scumreading me because there are 2 Slanderers, but she’s town even though there are 2 Benefactors. The arguments are so weak here.
