I don’t know about that. The rest of the role states “Once per game you MAY overturn a Lynch”, which implies she has a choice over it. Idk. I asked Kohai privately just to be sure.
i’m pretty confident Thoth is town. I think at the end of the day, not even Thoth will double triple quadruple down on his policy lynch idea when it’s part of what’s putting him on the chopping block, when he’s scum, for as weird as he can be.
and again, Link is a very towny character. Especially with the flip from Banana.

Just because 6 people voted him doesn't mean he is scum. He was quite towny at the end of the day, apart from his lack of reaction at Mag1cman’s hard CC.
I think Mag1cman is Town, just because we seem to be mindmelding so hard.

I don't understand the logic here. Including MC characters as part of the scum team is not a bastard element, I've done it several times in my own games. Thoth isn't auto-town just for claiming the character nor for having the lynch reversed, though I have a hard time believing Kohai would've aimed to include such strong anti-flavor claiming mechanics if scum was being given Link as one of their characters.

No single member of town has a right to overrule a group decision. He should be lynched as a matter of principle at the very least.
Considering it wasn't a group decision - several people opted off that wagon shortly after Thoth claimed and Magic himself apparently didn't want the lynch and didn't expect it would happen based on his vote - calling this "a matter of principle" seems like a stretch.
