It is a bit odd to suddenly turn sus on you when he participated in the scumjests, but neither saying D3 = LYLO or voting Thoth over you is really "outing himself."

Wow, that's an issue. So there is no limit on the length of the DPs, and effectively, night phases are decided before the DP even ends (or I guess in Twilight since he says these can be submitted after the lynch happens). Yeah, guess fluff time is over, time to get moving with this.

I'll clarify my concerns with mass claiming, since Wylted brought that up. I think the possibility of giving up specific characters like Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael are the biggest concerns, that's part of the reason I pushed back a bit on the male/female soft claiming since it could potentially reduce the pool of likely PRs to male characters.

Still, I think we're going to have to take a risk here one way or another. Either we pursue one or two players for claims and lynch in that pool, or we set up some mass claim system and hope for the best. I still think the latter is risky, particularly this early, and much as we're down to just under 6 days, we do still have time to make the most of the game we have left and I'd rather not give scum all the means to mess with town roles.

Yeah, I don't get this one much either. Kohai did seem to jump on his argument pretty hard, but the "open-wolfing" argument from Mago was a little weird. Wouldn't say it's odd for Mago to sus like that, though.

I am willing to vote KOhai for elimination now. I think joking about being scum is something scum would do as an arrogant thing and I know it happens a lot with town players but it's always hard for me to shake that feeling the entire game of arrogant scum.

Where would that arrogance even come from? He hasn't exactly had a great track record as scum so far. It didn't really read as arrogant, just aggressive.

Maybe he feigned arrogance because he thinks we would wonder where that arrogance would come from? I doubt it, but Mafia is ultimately a game of WIFOM.

Has Skipper even posted yet? Being absent in a game with such limited day time is a pretty big problem since we can't just wait around for his claim, even if I'm not the biggest fan of lynching in absentia.

A mass claim is tempting -- feel like it would give me an immediate POE -- but not worth it, I agree.

Pursuing claims within a pool requires a POE, and the only data are:

1. Kohai and Mago's weird back-and-forth
2. Mago claims he has never heard of his character
3. Thoth says there is one type of soft that would help him figure out the best way to use his role
