I am the towniest town to ever town, but I couldn't fault any of y'all for mislynching me here. It's at least indirectly my own ass fault (that should be the name of a paving company) for neglecting my list of night actions. I do ask you all to seriously consider whether or not, if I were scum, Kohai would be okay with me claiming Vigilante knowing that I could not fake-confirm myself with a second kill last night. Even in the Suikoden game where I pulled that Leprechaun claim out of my ass a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, I only did it because Lunatic either approved it or did not make it clear enough that he did not approve it.

I know this is basically a moot point since it could probably be applied to all our claims, but do you really think I took the risk of asking about Saw Gerrera and got lucky that he wasn't in the game, instead of asking about someone more minor?

If you didn't know much about the theme, you could've thought Saw was minor. He does only appear in three episodes of Andor.

The case against you, in my opinion, is down to the fact that you did not confirm your role, you have yet to make the case for why scum would either give town an extra day phase or NK Magoroth (a mislynch target), and I guess also that I have twice asked you what you meant by "a particular soft that would help me use my role best", and you still haven't answered.

If you're town, we also still have one more chance to lynch correctly.

Ordered list of targets for my Vigilante, as in: kill this player, then if they aren’t around to be shot, kill this player instead…

No, of course not. That’s why I didn’t ask anyone to do it. I said it to hint at my role so you could see in hindsight that I didn’t make it up later, or, at least, that I would have locked myself into fewer fake-claims if I were scum.

Hell if I know. I can’t see scum chat. It would depend on scum’s reads and guesses at how Mago would vote and who would make it to the final day phase.

I really hope you meant he was in the POE. I have a hard time buying that theory now, as much as I want to believe it. It would take some serious WIFOM to extend the game by a mislynch just to frame me. Makes me wonder if scum have a play tonight that they think will damn near guarantee a mislynch tomorrow.

The long and short of it is that my POE is mainly between Luna and Thoth. The only alternative is that Banana is scum, and that would require me to believe that Savant gave scum this specific role just to be townread for using it. I find that harder to believe, so I'm treating Banana as town at this point.

Between Luna and Thoth, it's mainly a matter of what happened during the last NP that's bothering me. Neither of them have mechanical confirmation, but Thoth's is particularly jarring given the lack of support for his Vig, which should have been confirmed last night. If scum opted not to do the NK, that would be baffling since that would have put them at MYLO. I don't think they opted to kill Mago at the same time he did, so either they made the choice to pass on the NK, or Thoth is scum and this is his cover. I agree with him that Kohai likely didn't sign off on a fake Vig strategy, but it doesn't look like Kohai was thinking through his strategy much, either.

So if the choice is between two unconfirmed players, I'm going to pick the one who should be confirmed over the one who might have been.
