I'm Dennis Whitaker, 1x Vigilante. Justification is that I killed a rat during the shift from hell. I shot Pie because (1) some of what he wrote came off to me as pushing unusually hard for claims even for him and (2) I figured that, if he were town, there was a high chance that scum would shoot him anyway.

It's doubtful, but its a possiblity I suppose. I think the last scum is between shining and mago, but I am leaning mago town here still. Either way we have plenty of time to sus it out, and vader could potentially have a result to help us here too.

I was super tempted to waive the Vigilante, but I figured that Vigilante being in the setup meant there was probably a second protective or something to stop it from putting us at MYLO on day 2.

Assuming we dont get to MyLo after killing one Mafia (is that even possible?), I am ok with being lynched if it wins the game, PoE-wise.

I think Thoth is telling the truth. Unless hes bulletproof scum or something, he wouldnt lie about this. Serial Killer or real vigilante would just kill him. And I dont see evidence of roleblocker, mafia doctor, or rolestopper yet

I actually think the pie kill was a solid choice. His role wouldn't have town confirmed him, and I would have been paranoid as shit of him in a mylo situation, despite town reading him. Also I 100% would have criticized you for not using it. Getting to mylo isn't the end of the world, even with two scum left, because your odds of correctly lynching scum are increased.

4/2/1 => wylted dies, 4/1/1, SK likely shoots a Town, hoping Thoth will kill someone else => 2/1/1, SK CCs him (?), he gets lynched, SK wins.

I could ONLY see him being possibly a Mafia Vigilante, and apparently that’s unlikely to exist. So hes probably Town Vigilante.

If you are town and mislynched, assuming two scum left, we automatically lose. The best we could do is no lynch next day phase if after lynching here, just to narrow POE down by one more.

Just so you can see the math

6 players 4 v 2. Mislynch, plus a night kill, makes it a 2 v 2 which is parity and scum win. Lynching correctly, plus a night kill brings it to 3 v 1. We can no lynch here, mafia get a night kill, we go to lylo at a 2 v 1.

As I read through last DP, after the hammer that I didn't realize had dropped until hours after it dropped, some things that Pie said struck me as trying too hard to push someone as a mislynch target even by his standards. I can fetch quotes if you want.

Speaking of Pie, he is undoubtedly why Banana made sure to tell me that I was the last person with an unsubmitted action.

I am open to it after we get the last claim from shining and the result from vader and they aren't like super obviously scummy and we are just so conflicted that we really just need the one player down because we can't decide. I dont see Vader as scum, but I’m really not a fan of him disappearing after effectively being townread by the entire game. And he seemingly did submit a night action cause ppl night ended early. He had a crash out yesterday. What gives?

Both the crash out and the activity from vader are normal from him. However I have wondered if its possible there is a miller/cop gambit going on with the scum. I kind of doubt that because cop is such a common role and this is bananas first game.

This set up makes a lot of sense and feels pretty balanced. The mafia could be anything though, but yeah I agree that is a likely set up

Which means he is either not a ninja, or they have a strongman or something they they opted to use instead. Which if they did it would make sense since banana answered your question about whether a role could go through after someone dies and said yes, meaning they could have been worried about a protection and opted to use that instead. Hard to say til we get a flip though.
