Mestari would be right I think if Kohai was a guild leader, or even me. But Luna and Wylted tend to not have wagons build on them DP1 so that lessens the impact a bit. Still I personally would have kept that card up my sleeve to hit them with in later DPs but its not the end of the world.

Not town-confirming the leaders makes an interesting mindgame where townies could fake-claim to bait kills from the real guild leaders and the guild leaders would have to decide whether it's kill-baiting or scum trying to pocket town. I can see now why Mikal didn't officially confirm them.

No math required. First off, we are on odds, so there's basically no reason to VTNL. Secondly, with this many roles, we have no way of knowing how the kill math could play out, e.g., there could be extra NKs, dayvigs, a lot of protection, etc. So I think we say fuck the unknown quantities and lynch for maximum information.

Realistically, how much behavioral analysis do we get from something that is completely NAI? Do town never push town? Do mafia always blatantly push people and never bus? So much of this is dependent on the specific player. Also weren't you the one who said you don't like cluttered day phase ones? Seems like letting people go down this road is a lot of wasted posts for something that results in the end of being completely NAI. Also you are ignoring the other points I made about how this literally doesn't negatively effect me. If I thought I was a potential recruit target for the other guild member I can see your point, but again it was already wasted on me so I know they won't use it again on me. I can't be killed np1, and dying np2 isn't the end of the world. I can pass guild lead and I already know I am winning the recruit war assuming I didn't already recruit scum. Also I don't want town wasting power roles on me. All of this outweighs the "Maybe we can WIFOM catch scum being ultra agressive and pushing a lunatic dp1 mislynch" which is already extremely unlikely to happen anyway lol.

How many times has town mislynched every single time until lylo then won the game? These are some of the most important wagons to analyze, and you stripped the tire off one before it even got going because you didn't want to spend time allowing the tracks to be laid.

The VTNL plan is to VTNL for multiple days quickly so we can enable power roles then use them, not just VTNL DP1.

Good point, I forgot. My point stands that there are way too many unknowns to hazard a guess at how the kill math would play out, probably even if we knew every role in the game.
