if we vtnl twice that's 2 maf kills and 2 more recruits

If I'm reading the rules correctly, that's 5 members in each guild by that point,

11 v 4 tho assuming no third parties. But with possible third parties plus possible faction sabotage, I don't think the extra night actions are worth sacrificing a few townies in that circumstance

The premise of the idea is fine but i dont think it works when we get down to the specifics.

This whole game feels like that episode of Rick and Morty where new characters started popping up everywhere but the main characters remembered them always being there, and they turned out to be brain parasites that implanted you with long-term memories of themselves

I do kind of see Mestari's logic, but I don't think repeated VTNLs are worth denying ourselves the information from flips.

You weren't in the scum PM last game. You have no ideal why we are doing this. :)

only reason I would join in the future is if town can't get around it, at which point I'd just do it to advance the game. That's what I mean by that

I came up with a custom role for Culture (Iain Banks) Mafia where you could get a live feed of scum chat after you died and forward messages from it to a living player, after the messages were sanitized according to some strict rules. I gave it up because I couldn't figure out how to stop it from being broken without draconian restrictions, plus it felt like a violation of privacy to me.

I'd like to suggest that we DISCUSS softing whether we are a show character or ourselves. Not that we do it, but that we discuss whether or not we should do it.

Do you think mafia would be risky enough to suggest a VTNL tho? No matter what, it attracts attention to the person suggesting it.

Interesting. Seems like if you sanitized it to the point of being fair there would be little actionable utility in the information anyway.

Alyssa begins by accusing Mestari of claiming godfather on discord. Maestari never CCs this so I assume alyssa is being honest. I've seen town players do far worse than that and got lynched for it so normally I would not put too much stock into this. That said, maestari's reaction to this was absolutely bad and scummy af. He litterally pulled a mag1c (sorry mag1c) on the second page.

I explicitly believe that enabling power roles and having a night where both sides agree to use roles and not recruit is beneficial to the town. I have nothing more to say on the topic. I don't see how you don't get it.
