I do not see this as fatalistic as a few of you keep making it sound. I am happy to hear your argument though, but so far you just seem to be echoing a hollow statement “that it was dumb” without a lot of support.
Maybe it's not as bad as my initial instincts. I do see the point that there's a good chance that at least one mafia is already in a guild chat. Still, it's giving away info completely for free, and as a rule the town really should avoid that, for obvious reasons. But what's done is done, not going to argue about it further.

I specifically remembered Helz saying in one of the Mafia channels in the DebateCraft server that he knew Mestari from MU and thought he was really good, but it looks like my brain made that up. I think I mixed it up with where Helz said that he himself had devoted a bunch of time to studying Mafia theory. All these (from my perspective) newcomers get jumbled together in my mind.

Specifically in post 245 you said he was going mano-a-mano with pie who is also a fear kill target. I get why you would think that about pie, who you have been playing with for a while now, but why mestari who was at one point not long ago the largest wagon in the day phase?

Because the main logic here is that someone who knows and has played with mestari on DDO told him he was a fear kill option. That limits the amount of people to him, you me, and maybe mharman (who apparently only played with him once). Potentially Rex (Skep) I can't honestly remember if skep played with mestari, but its a possibility. I guess you could make a case that airmax did as well, though I have no evidence to suggest max is aware the day phase is up atm. I dont think vader (supa) played with him but if he did he was ultra noob when he did and probably doesn't remember him. I don't think Whiteflame played mafia til DART days which was long after mestaris retirement, though he was around DDO to know of him and maybe said something to the respect of his play. Either way, these are all possibilities I could consider, but Thoth being scum would heavily implicate you in this scenario.
