i am struggling to catch up here but it looks like pie and mestari are going at it, both guild leaders claimed 4 sum reason, and kohai full claimed without pressure. am i missing anything or does that about sum it up

I have worked on it for years and all that with over a decade of having a speech therapist teaching me how to interact with normal people. I am also gifted cognitively and am a Mensa member easily passing as a genius on IQ tests. I hold the personal opinion that such tests are totally fucked. Measuring specific metrics of someone's ability does not voice how capable they are but rather how capable they are in measured areas.

I also chronically face issues in social settings. Right now I am facing some bullshit where I am guiltily of being autistic on MS and I got a ban from MU for saying things weirdly and then fucking with the egos of some people in leadership as I hardline argued right is right and rules exist that they ignored. Im use to taking shit for my condition.

Your standard WAIS or WISC or Ravens all focus on pattern recognition and memory/spatial ability. That means about jack shit to me. I have close friends who could not solve the quadratic equation if their life depended on it yet they are able to create insane art in ways that blow my mind or tear down a motor and rebuild it while my dumbass would be referencing TM's for days unpacking technicalities.

That said, I feel its less of a question of if you are smart and more of a question of how you are smart. I am sorry if I offended you in some way but I hold no issue. I appreciate that you have your struggles and will keep it in mind. We should really continue this conversation out of the game though if we are going down this road. Given that pretty much everyone has at least poked their head in enough to skim the DP (save Helz), I think we are pretty much treating Luna and Wylted as town confirmed at this point given the lack of CC (scum would be suicidal to CC them anyway).

What test(s) did you take to get in? The proctoring event I found gave me the Wonderlic and RAIT.

Your vote on thoth here is interesting. Are you thinking that mestari is bussing here? Because the main logic here is that someone who knows and has played with mestari on DDO told him he was a fear kill option. That limits the amount of people to him, you me, and maybe mharman (who apparently only played with him once). Potentially Rex (Skep) I can't honestly remember if skep played with mestari, but its a possibility. I guess you could make a case that airmax did as well, though I have no evidence to suggest max is aware the day phase is up atm. I dont think vader (supa) played with him but if he did he was ultra noob when he did and probably doesn't remember him. I don't think Whiteflame played mafia til DART days which was long after mestaris retirement, though he was around DDO to know of him and maybe said something to the respect of his play. Either way, these are all possibilities I could consider, but Thoth being scum would heavily implicate you in this scenario.

Regarding the actual sus being thrown at me, there's a pretty clear person that's being left off the list of people who's familiar with Mestari on a mafia level and a personal level that matches me (which I hinted at in #386, though I didn't spell it out to not provide Thoth with a get-out-of-jail-free card in case he is scum). Mikal (i.e. the person hosting this game) is just as familiar with Mestari as I am, both on a mafia level and a personal level (arguable as to who knows Mestari better per se, but it's a hair that's not worth splitting for this context). All it'd take is one question in Thoth's role pm of "Hey who's this Mestari guy who's blowing up the discord with sex jokes" for some level of understanding to be imparted. So sure, if Thoth flips scum then I could be scum by association, but there are other explanations to this.

More seriously, I think her lack of participation is overall NAI coming from her. It's certainly not pro-town, obviously, but if anything, I feel like scum Banana would likely be pushed into a bit more activity by her partners. The last big game she was a part of was Terraria Mafia, where she was scum and also low activity, tho as I recall, she was still more active. If we're going to lynch someone for low activity, Airmax would probably be a better option simply because he's the only one who hasn't even shown up at all.

I agree that it's weird for a character to exist as town completely outside of the guild mechanics. I also don't see a connection between the character and the ability to redirect recruits.

Its where you get to end of day (EOD) and just ask everyone "So this train is not great, want to just all flop onto this person" and you get a mass shift in votes speed hammering an unpressured slot.

I like to address it early so you do not have a person just blindly hammered. They are busy and such sure- do they ever come to the table and deliver though? Kinda between very low value town and scum atm and your referencing a lurker activity when they rolled scum.

While you are here if I could pick your mind on the subject of flavor. I am seeing a lot of demands for people to claim who they are as the character in the game. I generally look at flavor as NAI but on this site is that a thing? Bad alignments get the bad characters and good alignments get the good ones?

Its not necessarily is the character good/bad. It’s: would this character exist. Does the role make sense for this character. Does the mod justification the person is saying make sense
