my theory is shinning is some type of scum redirector who targeted Rex. The fact that shinning said he was some type of lightning rod / redirector and can’t think of a justification or the actual name of the role is quite revealing

This is the problem I have with this setup is when guild leaders are forced to protect scum / lynch town to meet their guild’s win condition. A true prisoner’s dilemma
