Maybe what's getting him is that it's not called Avoider but functions exactly like Avoider. The MU description: "The Avoider may each night target someone. If that player targets the Avoider with any night action, it will not work." That's pretty much how you described your role, isn't it?

yeah just seen that. but still doesnt mean anything. not a single role that has flipped or been claimed has been titled the way its supposed to function. for example, u r not a cop, tho ur action works like a cop. luna was a motion detector but his action is eyes of the beast. etc etc
