I'll look at Thoth more later but for now everyone should take a look at Rex's ISO

-First five posts are RVS and shitposts (note that he's checking in the thread semi-frequently in the first two days and has little to say about the game)

-Next three posts, he finally jumps in and jumps on Thoth while Pie, Mikal and I are on him (yes he makes a concession in the third of those posts, but the point of those three posts is still to establish an anti-Thoth stance)

-Random sus on Banana in ninth post (tbh I don't care about this, possibly a shitpost)

-last four posts are anti-magoroth, +changing his tune on Thoth (note: THIS was the vote count at the time)

-only post in DP2 is a vote on me after Pie votes me and Thoth asserts the votes on him look bad

Honestly, what is the town case here? At least Thoth has one.

A dp1 scum lynch is good grounds to afford a mass claim. We should only need to hit one more scum so just put all the cards on the table and see which claims stand out most

skimming pages 14 and 15 of DP1 makes my point here even more obvious

I came in to the DP at a time when the votes were tied and the lynch was going to rand and had to do a quick read and decide between Thoth and Mago after really not paying much attention DP1, eventually decided on Mago because the arguments on Thoth were flimsy (a vanilla claim which I had already pointed out long ago could fit and the idea that he was 'defensive').

You on the other hand were dead-set, adamant about never ever lynching Magoroth iirc, claiming that you would only lynch between Thoth and I, and fought the Magoroth wagon tooth and nail. This is mystifying behavior if you are town, as Mago was hardly active, and the fact that you were gunning for me who was also widely innactive is even more damning because it doesn't give you some out where you wanted to kill an active player to get more info out of it. But if you are scum just coming off of two scum games where you lost teammates in the early DPs and had to try and long-haul it? Much more understandable for you to put it all out there trying to avoid a repeat scenario, hoping that your scum mate could turn things around the next DP.

Summarizing those three posts as me 'jumping on Thoth' is straight up retarded. Having some theme knowledge, I made three rapid-fire, stream-of-consciousness posts about his impromptu claim. At first, I also think it is strange, then I analyze whether he could conceivably do that as scum, concluding that he could. Then I look at whether it could be his actual claim, concluding that it very well could, and this is at a time when other players have pretty much all said the opposite - that Himmel was an important and powerful character and didn't make sense as a vanilla. I never at this point voted Thoth or even said that I wanted to lynch him, as I wanted to see how the wagon would develop and how people would react, whether they would hop off or argue and double down. Internally, I was pretty skeptical of the Thoth wagon at this point and wanted to take a wait-and-see approach to see which counterwagon would emerge if that one faltered. The fact that one emerged on a player who was in hindsight scum is absolutely golden.

You seem awfully peeved that this case on me is unconvincing, almost like you're scum who feels like you deserve to mislynch me because I put in so little effort last DP.

If I can get a couple more people to sign off on a mass claim, I am willing to start us off. I dont want to claim and then be the only one who does so though.
