Mmm. Im not going Wryly or Banana today.

Im a bit confused about Mikal. They seemed to do nothing but screw around with claims and then suddenly cautioned it could be dangerous. One of the stronger indicators I noted in their scum play last game was the lack of consistency in their positions. Although I have not gone try hard on this site yet as town to really recognize if its such a major indicator.

Ultra's escalation and shift was a bit weird. They were pushed for little reason then people were demanding hard claims and they rambled about some mech and now people are chill about them while also vote parked? Im more confused than anything else with that..

i can’t speak for others on ultra but my recent posts have showed why I scum read him. at the very least I think he’s a good person to ask for info from and thoughts

I get that but the whole "Claim now or die" suddenly had its pressure fall out and WF unvoted because... They rambled about some mech? Its just odd progression.

Not sure why this is hard per say. Some claims have direct implications to roles. Others may not. I cautioned anna to be careful because I think her claim does. And the extra caution is for other people who may have obvious roles attached to their claims.

1 - tried to make me full claim on the grounds of an obvious joke vote, then when I didn't immediately comply with that demand said I was stalling

2 - Im heavily leaning toward number three being the lie, and banana's opening behavior with immediately soft claiming is very in line with that.

I will say that it did look like you were stalling. The natural response imo would be between refusing or just doing it. Saying "Give me time" then coming back to give random info on some mech stuff. Im not asking you to claim right now but yeah, that was a weird way of dodging a request to claim.

I wouldn’t say there’s a lot there to read. After the last game at least, I can see why we’d want to avoid allowing anyone to coast, but the vote on Rex looks like he’s just leaning into flavor a little. That’s how I’m seeing it. Could be an indicator of something but it doesn’t come off as obvious.

I don’t see it as defensive to point out that one of four points is NAI. I null read him atm, though I want to see more from him so I’m fine with the pressure and seeing how he responds to it. That will be a stronger indicator.

So I know this is a bit of modpsych, but I buy your claim for one reason:

This is very much what I’d expect from Luna after the role I gave him in our game. He was Alcoholic. I’d outright told him I considered giving him an element to his role where he was required to behave as though he was drunk in each of his posts and he leaned into it. I think Luna was disappointed that he didn’t get to spend more time with the role (it was a compulsory RB that couldn’t prevent NKs) and I can absolutely see him using it here. Doesn’t mean it’s a given that he’s town, but it’s a point in Kohai’s favor from where I’m sitting.

Considering the game we just came off of where Shining won the whole thing in part by just posting as little as possible, I get Banana’s skittishness. Pushing you based on the joke I get being frustrated with, but yeah, I get sussing stalling tactics this time around. I can absolutely understand her seeing it that way.

I'm still surprised by the number of people who softed unprompted, especially considering scum were given no fake claims and this very specific kind of softing helps them narrow down which fake claims are safe.

I duno. I pretty much always soft. I just did it in a really stupid way here because I thought it was funny to ramble about fucking my cousin and making people realize that they are literally related to every person they have ever had sex with. Fun subject to bring up at an engagement party.

I do think that overall slowing down claims is a positive. We do not know what we do not know yet.

Could be. I do not think it indicates aligned between Ultra and either of them. I am still scratching my head on the "Just give me 15 minutes" to then come back a lot more than that later and never claim. I agree that them being pushed over a flavor joke is nothing of note but some pieces of their reaction to it do have my attention.
