Stereotype Mafia DP2

Im not sure that I directly voiced it. Its something I have been considering in my reads. I am certainly not going to bother going through my 200 posts or whatever hunting for an example for you. If you want to say I am guilty until proven innocent thats your choice. I do not have the time or desire to deal with a FoS that puts the burden of proof on myself. I gave very clear reasoning for what I was thinking about which I have not only explained in detail but referenced as one of my core beliefs of how scum hunting works years ago.

Honestly it would be an awkward thing to even write into a read. "This guy is hunting but hey, maybe its because he is able to look like he is hunting because 3p exists"

Like.. What kinda point would that even be? Its just a dynamic shift in that Mafia in this game are very likely not certain if a player is town or not and they will construct legit scum hunting arguments because of it lowering the value of "Dude looks like they are legit hunting"

I didn't mean it quite that literally. More a question of if you were using keywords in different ISO's to see who is doing this. But now that ive said that the question is kind of moot.

Regarding why Helz seems so confident in the existence of a third party generally, I'm just not seeing it as a serious concern. A lot of us agreed that #1 is one of the few on that list that scum would have been unlikely to fake and I think Helz is just pretty confident in it being true. It's possible he's just the TP and knew there was one, I just don't think this is a slip.

I agree with Wryly's response to you, but especially given what you've said here, I'd like to understand what you're thinking since you haven't given much in the way of thoughts this DP beyond just acknowledging the mislynch and casting doubts like this.

I have good reason to believe pie is town and I think itd a valid point. The wording of the lost is tmi. Helz saying he has reason to believe there is a tp or its likley there is a tp doesnt correct the fact that he said there is certainly one in the game.

I believe Pie's town too, doesn't mean I'm sheeping him on this. I get that Helz said "confirmed 3p" in that post, but I hesitate to put it down to TMI when so many people were automatically reading #1 as likely true. I recognize that scum would be certain, as obviously would the TP, so I take your point.

One of my issues with Ultra on either side is that no matter how much they get pressure they never seem to give anything that lets me read them. I have no idea what to do with that. They just claim or give blank reads with little reasoning.

This puts them as LHF town or frozen scum who do not know how to fake reads. But if the second one was the case maybe they would get somewhat coached by their team more?

Given we lost our critical invest I am not sure if we have a second that could mech solve them. Its going to be a really fucking stupid situation to deal with late game no matter what if they are not resolved. But also resolving them today gives us pretty much no info at all and if we miss then tomorrow we are at MYLO
