First DC Mafia game, let's go! 

Are we all video games? I thought retro games was more like chess, checkers, clue monopoly but based on my pm I’m guessing it’s referencing old school games maybe arcade games.

I'm a little surprised you thought that tbh. My game is exactly the kind of game I was expecting. I'm a video game from the 80's.

I would suggest something like picking the person under you on the player list and the person on the bottom picks the top player on the list.

I have an idea with this. But it involves no one saying before hand who they’re going to be in a PM with. After the 48 hours, everyone can/should reveal who they chose and when everyone verifies, it will help POE tremendously.

I actually like this idea. Makes it harder for scum to plan around the Mason chats if they don't know what everyone else is doing.

Think we’d miss out on the benefits of Pie’s plan if we did that, but that would avoid the problem I mentioned.

Definitely going to need this clarified. So the game in your PM came from the 16th century? Or does your PM point to a game from a different time period and you’re extrapolating to a different version that goes back that far?

Maybe I'm being dim, but what's the point of this? All it does is prove that Mikal isn't retarded and can set up PM's properly. Whether it works or not is affiliation neutral.

Avoids everyone being in PMs with Icon, so that we then each have one or two people to communicate with.

And yes, we cannot assume we've picked a townie going in, but we (hopefully) can get a sense of the person or persons we're talking to. Plus sharing information early with one person, is very different than sharing it with the whole game.

There was no thought process. There's probably no ideal plan, but so long town doesn't derp its way to mislynches, we'll be fine methinks.

Same. It’s been years since I’ve played mafia. Given this is the inaugural game on this new site I couldn’t miss it
