Looking at this and your post above it, it's hard to believe there are two NP2+ Vigs in the game, and that's coming from someone who got that exact role on my list of three. If you're a Serial Killer TP or something, now would be a good time to clarify given that we're likely at MYLO.

Do you not believe your own results or something? I don't know what to tell you. Im a NP2 vig. That's what I am.

I trust that my results are accurate, but they don't say anything about alignment. Two town Vigs, even with a delay, aren't believable. Having another killing role in play likely means it's associated with a TP, and while that's still hard to stomach, it can at least make some sense from a balance perspective.

When have you ever seen a mafia or third party titled "Night 2 activated vig"? Regardless of your assumption about my alignment, the existence of a second vig is 100% proof the balance is fucked.

I'll admit I've never seen a role like that outside of town, but I'm balancing how strange that is against town somehow having two of the exact same role that allows those players to shoot multiple times. The balance being off doesn't mean I can completely ignore it as an issue.

That's... a new one. Never had someone who didn't confirm the role before MYLO/LYLO. On that basis, you should at least be able to confirm that it is MYLO, right?

Okay but if I wasn't a vig, and we got a mislynch instead, we would have been in the exact same spot numbers wise, so this is either an oversight, or a lie.

Oh yeah. I should've claimed last DP then. Oh well. I'm not good at keeping track of the numbers. With no confirmable role, I'm sure my head's on the block. I'm not even mad, my fault for trying to be too clever about the Popular thing and losing track of the math.

Yeah, I agree with Luna on this one. I'm tempted to view it as a big oversight on your part because that's what your statement above reads as. It's just a weird position to put yourself in. Even if you are actually Popular, that obviously wouldn't confirm your alignment, but now we're just taking your role claim on faith. Did you give the justification?

Popular is one of those roles that mods frequently use for both teams, you can claim that dp1 and still receive a bit of suspivion for it. Also as you now know, it loses all utility in MYLO as that would be OP. So in general, it's considered an SOP claim.

Yes, 100%, I'm hoping against hope Kohai gave scum like a Graverobber and a JOAT and that this game is not terribly balanced. I must have faith that I will not facepalm at endgame!

A graverobber, assuming this is a thing, wouldn't it just give me an unlimited use of vig, thus still presenting a balance issue? Or a JOAT with an extra night kill? No matter how you spin this, we have a balance issue at play, regardless of what you think my affiliation is, the balance is 100% confirmably bad, me being scum town or 3p doesn't change that fact.

But your point is that I am not a town aligned big so this doesn’t help your case against me. Whiteflames role literally listed a np2 activated vig.

All of these are equally as bad for balance. The only thing that would make sense for balance is if it was exactly one 1x vig and it was a 8-2 set up, that way it could account for the extra mislynch we miss from a 7-3 in a normal 9 player set up. 2 every night vigges is absolutely insane and chaotic, this game could be over right now if we don’t no lynch yesterday

I needed to get through day 2 without claiming this because if anything happened to stop my role from going through, I would have no way of confirming myself, and there was absolutely no way in hell yall would have let me survive anyway if I told you I was the Night 2 activated vig after mikals flip. So yeah balance is completely fucked. This was also the reason I was okay with no lynching yesterday because I wanted to get a kill off and prove myself, and I wanted to lynch rex anyway, so figured killing rex would basically accomplish the same thing as a lynch without as much punishment.
