My problem with Thoth's. claim: He's the only claimed vanilla in the game that's supposedly role madness. 

That said, I do have mixed feelings here.

Except we know that a single vanilla is common to some rolemad games and that Bullish regularly includes one or two in his games. Not saying that means we should give Thoth a pass, but context doesn’t support the view that it’s scummy on its face.

Just got through Whiteflame’s ISO. He’s hard to read.

I felt the focus on softing at the start of the game was excessive. Literally everything else doesn’t ping me one way or another… it’s just there.

What about his behavior do you find townie? We can WIFOM character and role all day long. What has he done that makes you concrete townread him?

Apart from an early and somewhat sidelong means of softing his role, nothing. I can see reasons to pick him or Vader here, and the difference isn’t that big.

I disagree that the softing was excessive, but that’s not my call to make. As for the rest, might just be a consequence of a busy week, though I’ve tried to at least be thorough in giving my thoughts on reads so far.

One thing I did like was him calling the game retarded while Vader’s about to go down… you’d think mafia would be happier, and imo, more likely to feign happiness at catching Vader. It’s all frustration with being pressured early DP1 for a claim.

I can see sense in either lynching Thoth or Vader, with a slight preference towards the latter.

Is there any particular reason why votes are still up on Luna? Is there an active interest from either Mag1c or Vader in lynching him this DP and if so, why?

hmmmm… I don’t like the hesitancy to claim with a tree stump. Yet if you have that hesitancy, you’d want to claim something strong as scum, right?

He did soft tree stump fairly early in the game. I’m leaning toward him just believing his role pm is bad and tree stump is worth delaying for Kohai reasons, whatever those are. Feels too scummy to be scum.

You can find relationships and connections between anything. These apocalypses are both solar, but otherwise are extremely different. Vader’s is barely apocalyptic compared to most claims.

Mag1c’s claim seems very Bullishy to me, that’s a gutrad but if he is scum I think his partner went fakeclaimless

Eh. My thought here is that if you’re gonna delay claiming as scum, you’re trying to claim something strong. When Kohai claimed tree stump he said “so you can see why I delayed” i don’t know why tree stump would cause delay, but Kohai so boldly asserts that it would that I’m inclined to believe he sees something in that role that I don’t. Probably more than what there is, but I digress
