Why did you claim Chrono Trigger late NP1?

if RT is scum, then the only possible teammate here is Whiteflame, who I townread.

oh there’s Vader too. I’m specifically looking for people who could have access to the same information as RT. Either by being in a mason with Lunatic, or with RT. Vader says he used his mason on non one, but that’s unfalsifiable.

The logic in the above is that, if RT really was scum, he was planning to pass the fake claim to a teammate… not for himself.

But then again, Vader claimed 70s and I know what Whiteflame is… it’s a 90s game as he said.

So both teammate theories are a bust there. Bolsters RT towncase.

What’s the point of claiming Chrono Trigger if he planned on stealing someone’s role for a fake claim? He’d be limiting his justifications.

Stealing Lunatic’s role is bad if he knew Lunatic was in a chat with someone else, since Lunatic could’ve given said other person information

I think you have some good thoughts here, but I'm not certain Luna was actually Janitored. I was surprised to see that Luna didn't flip today, as the whole Mason thing this game seemed like it would make a Janitor low utility for the scum team. Like, you'd possibly still be able to steal someone's role, but only if they weren't already in a chat with a townie, so there's a lot of luck involved. I think it's more likely that Luna simply had a role that didn't flip for some reason. WF sort of already hinted at that.

I understand the point of this, any “accidents” we lynch tomorrow. Still, the wait sucks.

I claimed because he asked me to. He said he was compiling a list of flavor claims.

I'm developing a hypothesis that one of the people Lunatic was in a mason chat with is mafia and that's why they killed lunatic.

I don't think that two mafia folks would pick mason with the same person.

I have my skeptism on RT at the moment. I think that jumping the gun on a lynch within a full day is a bit opportunistic fmpov. It also doesn't help that Luna was killed as well. I don't know how that mechanically works because in all honesty I think it's inherent nature to town read your mason unless you come off as genuinely dishonest

I admit my claim hammer was far less than optimal. I had miscalculated how much time we had left in the day phase. I had gone over the state of the game with Lunatic. They gave me the green light to hammer. Immediately before hammering I asked him to confirm if it was OK to hammer and he stated to go ahead.

I really want to take some more time in reading the threads. I want to avoid the big mistake I made last day phase by hammering too soon.

Immediate thoughts: If vader is not in a mason chat then I want to clear him as town. I think if he was mafia they would have informed him to get into a mason chat and he wouldn't have missed the deadline.

cause having two ways in which scum can get an extra NK feels tailored to help them. They save town too, but we’re in odds so protectives aren’t as impactful compared to evens. I think the fact that they can save townies is designed to counter the fact that they can give scum an extra NK

If there actually is a roll where scum get an extra NK then it might actually make my roll make much more sense. If scum NK me they lose a NP. It's a way to balance out the two.
