I'm hesitant about the mason PM analysis. Scum had to know people would analyze it, so standard wifom applies. I also fail to see why they would each choose a town player - for example, if I had a green or incompetent scum player on my team I would insist that they choose another scum player both to avoid them slipping in their PM and to throw off just this sort of meta analysis.

Overall the mechanic changes the game in a lot of ways.

Anyway, I'd like to hear more from Shining. I'm convinced that one or probably two scum were on Icon's lynch, which was rushed through with RT delivering the hammer. Pie is town imo, Luna is dead, so that leaves Ragnar, Casey, Mharm, and RT. It was a golden opportunity for scum -a mislynch target who was behaving like a retard. The lynch was slammed close ASAP to avoid Icon doing anything to clear himself. RT is obviously my top choice. I'm not very good at reading Mharm having never played with him before, but his play seems kind of all over the place.

Also, is Ragnar normally so affable when playing?

I didn’t think the was much more to discuss about Icon at the point. FWIW, I did say that we should wait to hammer so could have discussion about Pie’s plan. Ended up not being that big of a deal, but I wanted to use that time there.

No one did, but again, my vote was already on Icon so that would have been strange.

Yep. He’s usually a little goofy about it to boot.

Damn, I must be tired. I thought I was on the lynch, but I was not. So yes, it is noted that I wasn’t being pushed to hop on the lynch. I did suggest that I saw Icon as the likely TP Survivor. RT being pushed by Luna to do it while I wasn’t is a strange outlier.

I was initially disappointed with the delayed hammering, until I saw that there had been a surge in activity (a delay to actually discuss something, is different than just running down the clock).

Casey didn't mention anything about it, but I was like first or second on the kill Icon wagon (so no point in anyone pressuring me to vote when I had already voted), but he also doesn't chat much at all in Discord from what I've seen.

I was not. I'm not a big fan of super large games like that. I prefer smaller to mid size games.

So with Pie being a popular I honestly have him in a strong town read. I already had a town read on him to start and I feel like this made it more likely. Also I know Airmax is a huge Tetris head and since Airmax is a lead develop I am almost certain there is something there about Airmax's favorite game. So I honestly buy that he is likely town at this point

Whoever did this, you have no life. Literally it took me an hour to get like 30K.

But also in a game like this, I really don't think that it would've been optimal to kill Luna. The FoS is obviously on RT for the quickhammer on Icon with a day left. You would likely want to leave Luna alive as even he would likely agree that's a bad mechanic and I don't think he would've done that even as scum. So the obvious choice as scum to frame him a bit so it's a sub optimal play. Plus is RT killing the only person that can potentially give town cred???

Issue is that this is WIFOM, plus if Luna had some sort of PR, it makes sense to kill him. Characterwise, Rolewise, and Behaviorwise, RT is scum.

I agree this is very likely. They certainly didn’t seem to have that much pressure on them when they claimed.

However, unless we hit MYLO, it’s a huge gamble.

I’m hesitant to seek too much information this DP, but as things stand, I do think there’s value in getting some more info.

I think Rex has a good point about RT claiming that Luna said he should hammer, which does stand out as odd given my experience. The claim of Beloved Princess looks like an outlier as well. Like Mharman, though, the lack of defense for him is setting off alarm bells. It just seems too easy to pursue.

Pie’s being confirmed Popular doesn’t really move the needle for me. I’m still slightly townreading him behaviorally, but I’ve seen too many Popular scum to just treat this as any kind of alignment confirmation.

The person who is setting off the most alarm bells for me currently is Casey, and I’d like to pursue them for a claim at this point. I don’t love that Casey claims I “hinted” at Luna being flipless (don’t recall saying anything of the sort), and the explanation for why there shouldn’t be a Janitor just doesn’t sit well with me given that scum could easily have faked being in a Mason chat or just refused to give up their role. Feels like fishing.
