I wish the NK were an ahead of a jailkeep in order of operations this game. Since night actions fail when you die, that means the NK has a roleblock built in. Important bc if you balance you games around NKs having RBs built in, you’re gonna give town one extra power. At which point situations where the NK isn’t the ultimate shutdown should be avoided.
I guess how the NP3 kill got blocked is fine. But say, if I had killed Pie while he jail kept me, my kill should’ve gone through with how Mikal treats NKs. The scenario never happened but Mikal confirmed the kill would fail there.

Casey was actually the first person I told Mikal to investigate NP1. Then I decided I was being dumb for investigating someone without a solid reason other than "this seems like someone who won't be lawyered up and who I'll want a result on eventually." I psych myself out of good decisions frequently. But yeah, I won't psych myself out of that one again.

Sure, but with how the NK operates in Mikal’s games, the NK essentially has an RB built-in. Two RB targeting each other. Preference should be given to the NK’s RB to prevent busted scenarios.
You and I don’t do it the way Mikal does so it doesn’t really apply to our setups.

Heh. Mestari did catch the scumslip that demolished half of the scum team, but not many seemed to notice that Pie caught it as well in #611 of DP1. When he's catching up he responds to posts in the order he reads them, so odds are he hadn't yet seen that Mestari had already caught it, either.
We also caught Banana because of Pie's jailkeep, and Pie turtling on the last NP would probably have caught Mag1c as well.
I definitely give Mestari credit for the catch, but Pie was pretty instrumental in the win.

Feel so bad for lynching Helz and Shining, especially cause I knew the latter was town. But in the end we pulled it off. Banana played well even though she was backed into a corner. Magic's poisoning gambit was smart- took me a while to see through that one. White tigers forever.
It was fun being back, but with my current work schedule it became obvious that 72 hour day phases just don't work for me right now. I'm pulling too many 15 hour days to consistently show up for the day phases. Maybe when I have more time in the fall I'll join another game.
