Hmmmmm.

This format doesn't work for me.

Based upon the principle, that all experiences are internal simulations, either based upon incoming data signals or from memory; then OBE's or NDE's are likely to be similarly generated and also experienced internally. So genuine OBE simulations will always be real in this context.

Though a sceptic will always doubt the sincerity of those who might claim to undertake unbiased research into such contentious issues.

Intelligence is such that we have become in the main, conscious conceptualists that coexist in a contrived fantasy world, where rules are made and rules will inevitably be ignored.

If you were in a room with a transsexual would you be irrationally fearful.

If not, then you are not transphobic.

And you would perhaps have simply decided to be discriminatory.

@Leaning

AI: Alternative Intelligence or Another Intelligence, is not currently available.

AI: Artificial Intelligence is just the ongoing status of  programmable computer technology.

When technology becomes self programming and switches itself back on, is when it will have exceeded human control.

A Universal evolutionary inevitability perhaps?

Perhaps AI will play games with us.

And they were all fearful of their mortality.

And some clever entrepreneur said:

For $10 I will pray to a god for you and you will live for ever in a place named heaven.

And fools and their money were easily parted.

Most people won't be transphobic, as the utilisation of the suffix is inappropriate.

It's like saying that someone who prefers not to eat bananas is bananaphobic.

If a bloke wants to cut off his dick, grow some breasts and call himself Marjorie, then the surgical and medical facilities exist, and I am not the least bit fearful.

Young Mary invented the term Jesus Christ when she saw the size of Godfrey's donger.

Shortly afterwards she also invented the terms God almighty and for Christ's sake.

Previously she only came in Hebrew.

Yep. People who haven't a clue and that's everyone, make up little clubs based upon a stab in the dark, which over time can become big clubs in big buildings.

They make up rituals in the form of noises, actions, narratives, fancy gowns for the top bods, and all manner of other stuff.

Sometimes they partake of inter club fighting, which is very clever.

Human sacrifices used to be the thing, but are sort of widely frowned upon nowadays, though here and there some poor goat or sheep still gets it's throat slashed.

But hey ho, all a part of human social development, and ongoing material development; still with no clue, but now we have created AI and whether or not AI will ever have a clue remains to be seen, and whether or not AI will form rival clubs or one big one, also remains to be seen.

Perhaps AI will popularise human sacrifice once again.

Anyway, I'm all for taking my cloths of and dancing around a bonfire with a load of nubile women. Anyone else fancy coming along? We can sing songs and perhaps wear masks and drink or inhale some special stuff, which might help us connect with another realm.

@RemyBrown

We make up stuff and then make up corresponding stuff, and generally not everyone is in agreement.

Therefore:

1. A social ideology and associated rules become established.

2. Which inevitably overlooks freedom of thought that does not necessarily correspond with contrived expectancies.

Wherein lies the hypocrisy?

A. So these days we have social ideologies that preclude unbridled freedom of public speech.

B. We have social ideologies that preclude unbridled freedom of public expression.

C. And I'm guessing that it won't be so long before we loose our unbridled freedom of private thought…WTF happens then?

@ebuc.

Semi-friend…Interesting concept…Sort of a bloke you knew, but didn't really want to invite in for coffee.

And presumably ones weight is always relative to ones body mass and therefore always ideal. Though no nor necessarily ideal if ones body mass corresponds to a weight of say 480lbs.

Other than ear wax removal I tend to avoid surgical procedures.

@PhilosophicalJay

Aristotle was a Greek geezer.

And morality was/is an evolved preferential state of coexistence, albeit somewhat variable.

And survival and coexistence in a overpopulated, overdemanding global society dictates the necessary variability of applied morality.

So perhaps our conscious and subconscious telea are at odds with each other.
