Silver increase in price in past 20 years can be said to be around 10x. (from 7$ in 2005 to 70$ in 2025)
Gold likewise has increased 10x over 20 years.
However, the crucial difference could be this: today, silver has potential to grow more in future than it did in past. So not investing some money in silver could easily result in missed opportunity.
Also, silver allows a more gradual selling. You logically only sell when you need money, and only in amount you need, which is a lot easier when there is greater number of individual pieces.
Lets say you need 70$ now. It is much better to have 2 silver coins, each of 70$ value (total 140$), than 1 gram of gold of 140$ value. While their value is equal, you only need 70$, and if you have silver coins, you can sell one, and keep other to keep gaining value. With 1 gram of gold, this isnt possible. You have to sell entire gram (140$) to get 70$ you need.
