If correct, you need an original. And that original needs to have let us know its identity at some point unless it is a deceptive deity.

Well, a "deity" is a hypothetical and can have any characteristics that the hypothesiser/s demand.

And some people would perhaps argue that the Christian deity is a tad deceptive, in so much as it is nowhere to be found other than in imagination of a thinking species....Same place as my hypothetical Universal Super-Intelligence.

Though I imagine that USI like humans, is an evolved thinking species rather than an infinite non-evolved extra-universal deity.

Nonetheless the burden of proof still lies with the creators and promoters of the fantasy concept.

Because I know for certain that there is currently no living Christian who can actually prove the existence of the Christian deity.

I didn’t put a whole lot of thought into my username. My IRL name starts with an M so I added an adjective that started with M, which became my username for a lot of things. “Man” ended up replacing my IRL name in later iterations.

Well, 3 months late, but still.

I always dreamed of changing my last name if I ever got the time and money, but other things always just seemed to come up and it never happened. For personal reasons, I don't want my dad's last name, and I never married. In my youth I set my mind on changing my last name to Casting; in my adulthood, I just wanted a friendly, common-sounding last name for once, and wished it was Riley. Both my usernames here and on DART have been plays on those two.

It’s my WoW user name. I picked a random name that sounded Medievalish/Fantasy.

I’ve also used the names Ganelon, Oberon, Grayswandir and Benedict. They’re all taken from the Chronicles of Amber.

For most of my adult life my true passion has been Therapeutic Horseback Riding, formally called Hippotherapy, which uses horseback riding as therapy for a broad range of special needs, developmental disabilities, and illnesses, typically with children. I ran a therapeutic riding program for over 30 years, performed every role there is, from Program President to Mucking Stalls and Special Olympics Coach. What I loved most was always being in the ring working with the kids, I've worked as Certified Therapist, Leader, or Sidewalker, but the role I always loved most was performing the function that the Therapeutic Riding industry calls "Sidewalker". To me, it was a form of self-expression, I really do think of it as representing who I am.

I liked this post several months ago but it still is a great username backstory. Love it.

Currently taking care of my grandmother who is bedridden... her passion her whole life was horses, and there is a horse therapy program near us that I really long to take her to. Unfortunately it will probably never happen. Best I can do is fill her room with photos of the horses she used to own. Her favorite was a pinto she named Apache.

I would suggest that one either has a predilection for assuming that internal electrochemical activity is more than simply internal system function, or no such predilection.

I subscribe to the latter, wherein internal electrochemical activity is what it is, even if occasionally it gives us goose-bumps.

Whereas my username Reflects my memories of 1960's and 70's British television drama...Internal process again.
