The US is a definitively secular nation, founded on complete separation of the State and religion. The Left Wing of US realise this but don't realise that pure freedom requires as low tax and free access to guns as possible. The Right Wing of US don't realise that secular pure freedom means the LGBTQ+ and abortion agendas both end up in line with US's liberty-first ethos.
It is left-wing to be pro-life. You are backing poor babies being born at the inconvenience of the already-born. Go figure.

The second-worst was in high school, when a girl asked me if I wanted to watch a movie at her place later and her parents wouldn't be home. I turned her down because I'm mostly not a movie person. Only years later did I realize what she wanted.
there was this Romanian girl at my HS who invited me to go as her partner to some community dance they were having and I turned her down bc I chose to go to a debate tournament lmao
Why didn’t you invite her to the debate tournament instead.
I suppose I could’ve but I doubt she would’ve missed it to watch me and my partner put in a mediocre performance as usual lol
