Yeah, I dont see why belief in God means you have to be poor and create a country which is worst by human rights. If religion works, it is expected to make people better, not worse.
Jesus told the rich to sell all their possessions and give it to the poor, and follow him to gain treasure in heaven. Matthew 19:21, Mark 10:21.
