I believe Jesus Christ is God, but not as described in the Bible.

Lets see.

God in Old testament says: "Any woman who commits adultery is to be put to death". (No exception mentioned)

So Jesus comes, and he sees a bunch of men trying to stone a woman for adultery.

Jesus says: "Leave the woman alone, you misogynistic fuckers!!!"

So if Jesus is same God from Old testament, then only two options are possible:

  1. He somehow forgot to mention exceptions in Old testament
  2. He changed his mind

Now, 2 gets a common objection from the verse "God doesnt change his mind". But God can change his mind about that verse too, so that verse is invalid.

1 would basically mean God in Old testament gave people an incomplete law which led them to killing women which they actually werent supposed to kill.

But what is a far more likely explanation is that Jesus is not God from Old testament. If we accept that people misinterpreted religion for 4000 years before Jesus came, there is not much hope that they wouldnt misinterpret it for 2000 years after Jesus.

So Jesus was God who came to Earth to CHANGE religion, but writers of New testament confused him for God of the Old testament.

this is why they made up a story about God being killed on cross, which makes no sense because God cant be killed unless he wants to die anyway and basically just self-destructs.

But I dont know why would Christians want to believe in the story that Jesus committed suicide, or at least tried to but he cant die anyway because he is God.

So they made up a story how Jesus "sacrificed himself" for them. But what exactly did Jesus sacrifice? He didnt die. He didn't lose anything except maybe a weekend which he could have spent elsewhere.

So Jesus was God, but Bible is clearly false. No person above 150 IQ can seriously believe the nonsense Bible teaches.

Also, Bible is literally polytheist because it teaches that there are 3 Gods, or that 1 God has 3 minds which is same as saying there are 3 Gods.

Law required the adulterous man and woman to be stoned. They only brought the woman, so Jesus just wrote on the ground and told them that whoever is without sin can cast the first stone.

Obviously they all had sinned in that they didnt bring the adulterous man and was just using this woman as a prop to condemn Jesus. Its possible they set it up cause they caught her in "the very act" of adultery.

Its evident you have no understanding of the precepts of the bible, and likely of reality its self, how it was necessary to prove the failure and inadequacy of man through law, to teach that through Jesus Christ alone is hope of salvation. The man christ Jesus suffered, felt and desired as we did, yet without sin. The humanity of Christ cried "if its possible, take this cup from me" the humanity of christ said "my god my god why has thou forsaken me?"

You do not know truth, you only intellectualize what you think you understand. You cannot know God while serving satan.

And as for trinitarian doctrine. That indeed is a lie, and i deny it also.

Moses saved more jews than Jesus did. Moses led 2 million Jews out of Egypt. Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed after Jesus was crucified.

The purpose of the law was to show man is not righteous, that man cannot cease from sin, that man cannot do good.

So God told man his precepts to his people through moses, if they thought to serve God through flesh, there will be blessings and cursings.

They failed.

All of them.

So then came Jesus Christ, to show the way of salvation is not through flesh, nor through man's capability, nor through man's righteousness. But through Jesus Christ. To submit to the Holy Spirit of God. To take up our cross, deny ourselves and follow Jesus.

TO ultimately serve God is to totally die to self will. There is no other way.

Most know john 3:16

But they forget verse 17 and on wards.

John 3:17-21

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

The name Jesus in hebrew Yeshuah, means God (who puts on/has become) salvation.

Only God can save us. And through Jesus Christ he does, to all who repent of their good and evil and turn to him.

So Jesus wanted to stone 2 people instead of 1?

I see no proof for that but damn... you guys are really trying to make Jesus look horrible. So I must still reject the Bible because I refuse to believe Jesus is so evil.

Always begs the question as to why Mary wasn't stoned.

One can only guess that her lover was someone with influence.

And that daft Joe, was just daft.

Yes, Jesus disrupted the temple by expelling people who were buying and selling animals and exchanging money, athough his reasons were complex and debated. He overturned tables, drove out merchants, and quoted scripture to condemn the commercialization of the temple, which he called a "den of robbers" instead of a "house of prayer". This event is known as the Cleansing of the Temple and is recorded in all four gospels, with differing timelines for when it occurred.

Because God raped Mary. She had no choice.

But why wasn't God stoned for committing adultery? Oh nevermind, he was crucified instead.

GOD AKA Abdul.

Rape is a latter day concept.

We have a tendency to attribute modern day values to archaic behaviour.

And the biblical character that was crucified was Abduls son, who was a bit of an insurrectionist and pissed off the Romans.

I didnt say your defense of Bible was bad, it was good. It only made Jesus look horrible. So while I consider Jesus as God, I cant accept Bible because it is either a lie either makes Jesus look horrible.

I don't believe Jesus is a god. I don't believe the Bible is true. Other people were free to do as they want. Almost everything in the new testament is based off Roman pagan mythology and not Jewish mythology.

Christianity is an offshoot of Judaism. Jesus was a Jew. The Romans crucified Jesus and realized their mistake 3 centuries later. Under Constantine in 375 ad Christianity became the state religion of Rome.

There's no proof any of that is true. At no point in the Old Testament has the God of Abraham ever had sex with a human being. That is Roman mythology.

Most christian festivals are based upon pre-christian festivals.

And the christian GOD idea, is undoubtedly based upon pre-christian GOD ideas.

That is to say, Supermen.

Nobody at all, other than some heretics who either ironically are old school tradcaths or orthos or alternatively old scool but protestant, defend and explain the stoning parable that way.

It is very obvious he did not angle the defense of the woman as 'bring her male lover and she is good to stone'.

He said '(only) he who is without sin may (dare) cast the stone'.

In no shape or form other than gaslighting with a corrupt agenda is it possible Jesus actually meant 'bring her man and boom bam boom blood spurts'.

The US is a definitively secular nation, founded on complete separation of the State and religion. The Left Wing of US realise this but don't realise that pure freedom requires as low tax and free access to guns as possible. The Right Wing of US don't realise that secular pure freedom means the LGBTQ+ and abortion agendas both end up in line with US's liberty-first ethos.

It is left-wing to be pro-life. You are backing poor babies being born at the inconvenience of the already-born. Go figure.

I am heretical and think he changed his mind.

I am a veliever in a variant of modal heresy where God's 3 persons are actually modes he functions by.

Where/while he is the Son he is experiencing a line of thinking and being revolved around love, forgiveness and internal discipline.

That is not the same as his Father person(a), which focuses a lot more on the external variants of discipline and has conditional worship and varyinng degrees of love (as opposed to universal equal love for all people).

I have read the Bible. I know for a fact that modal heresy was only fully wrong because it suggests God stops being 1 person to become 1 of the other 2.

He is all 3.

Thats your reasoning of it. The bible is very clear about who to stone and how to.

Jesus took this opportunity to teach them their false judgement and hypocrisy, and gave a woman the chance to repent of her ways.

I got scripture to back up what i said and i can quote the law if you disagree.

As for the intention of Jesus, we all know God is not willing for the wicked to perish, but we also know Jesus came to fulfill the law, not to break it.

The logic Christians use is his very existence as the human Jewish Messiah fulfilled it.

Otherwise, he directly contradicted it in a few ways and Paul made it a lot worse.

Jesus reprented a sognificant change in the Law whether you admit it or not.

The stoning parable has only 1 or 2 valid interpretations. He either said be a lot more patient before punishing or he said don't punish that way ever if you are not without sin.

Whichever interpretation is taken, he altered the Old Law's enforcement at the very least.

NT maybe suggests this. OT/Tanakh proves he even wanted genocide to little baby boys of a tribe and drowned millions in the Noah's Ark flood proving he fundamentally did not want everyone to have equal chance to make it to paradise. There is literally no way you can deny this.

Jesus was different to Father in fundamental ways.

You cant call God a murderer or genocidal and say the opposite of Jesus Christ, God in flesh.

You just revealed to me you arent a christian, cause christians acknowledge and love the father who is in the face of Jesus Christ, and obeys the Lord as if they obey the father.

Not to mention, you are ignorant of the judgements of God and why he punishes and has mercy.
