Kohai said flavor is NAI, which makes me think that, even if we knew one scum character, we would not be able to guess the other, but I could be wrong.

At the risk of providing fodder one of those nasty anti-claim mechanics, I'm going to say that my character is one of the more well-known ones from the 90s/early 00s. I'm willing to infer that most or all characters in here are also well-known, which makes the pool of likely inclusions shallow enough that fake-claiming characters could be risky, especially since Kohai said nothing about mod-provided fake-claims. Town might also have an investigative role that can check characters. This means that scum are likely to straight-claim their characters. Therefore, town could plausibly have anti-claim mechanics.

If your character is obscure enough that you think that my inferences last post were wrong, by all means, say so. No anti-claim mechanic in the world is going to test obscure vs famous character. Like, if you think this is a trick to get you to activate an anti-claim mechanic where I do something mean to you if you claim that your character is not famous, you should seriously be asking yourself why Kohai would put that in the game.

I'm unclear what the mindset is for this post. I get that three votes suddenly appearing on Max would be sus af, but I'm also unclear on why you're amping up pressure on a so far absent player. Pie made a good point about how this is particularly odd coming off of last game where Mikal took advantage of an opportunity to make it look like an accidental lynch, so I'm not sure why you'd contribute to that potentially happening again.

Not "kinda", this is pure modpsych, and it's a little weird when the newer players in this game both have extensive experience. I also don't get what you mean by "reading me as off currently", but I'll chalk that up to a gutread of some kind since you haven't elaborated. I don't think I've done anything worth townreading me for, despite Pie's view, so being in POE is a given at this point.

Why would you scum read Thoth for pressuring a non active then pressure a non active

I have a problem with Thoth's decision to pile onto Max despite him already having 2 votes and still being inactive. REF, by contrast, has had little attention on him and no votes.

he slipped twice, once with the role pm stuff (mine does not have any sort of win condition shit, but idk if I’m allowed to talk about this, it would get me modkilled on MU lmao), once when discussing anticlaim. Since when does town have anticlaim, like ever? How would it even work, it only activates if it’s scum? If it works on everyone, ask everyone to claim and have it function like a vig lmao. That kind of statement comes from scum perspective

1) I started the PM stuff and he acknowledged what I said. I town read him for that. If you that it is AI then you would have to assume that of both of us

2) the opening post literally days “cryptography is allowed” but do so at your own risk because they nasty mechanics for claiming or something

not sure if you are not reading, reaction testing, or just trying to get something to stick but all of that is not great reasons to scum read him.

wf, pie, and max are where I want to focus

max - is going to log on and will always use the excuse he’s busy. (He is irl all the time) it’s not AI but it’s a very good reason for early pressure so we can lock him into something. He will absolutely coast as scum and be absent as town. So scum will use him as a mislynch or it’s giving him time to work out claims.

WF- I dislike the push against Thoth. It doesn’t seem genuine or good reasons. He dislike putting pressure on someone (only 3 votes) because I took advantage of that last game. We’d need 3 people to all hammer at once to exploit this. RV is a pretty standard part of the game and that is a pretty lose reason to scum read someone

pie- the part about coming into the game and letting him carry because he’s upset didn’t read as genuine. I can’t really put a finger on it but pie always tries hard. Having to point out he is going to try hard cus he’s mad just seems feigned.

I don't get how sussing Thoth for his behavior is a "push," but if you're sussing me for calling out one post, then... fine I guess. I don't think he's risking another "accidental" hammer, but I do think it's odd behavior for him coming off of last game, and I think it's a pretty pointless vote when two other votes are already on him. I don't know why you have Thoth so solidly in your town pile, but I guess if your standard is that anyone who is sussing Thoth is sus, I at least somewhat get why you're sussing me.

if voting someone for pressure and to get them to say something is AI we are in trouble. I think the standard has always been to apply pressure to someone to get the game to move forward. If we only need 2 votes to do that. Why have we ever moved someone to l2 or l1 in the past. Pressure on someone is not AI. I will admit the “oh fuck it” from him seems werid. But not near as werid as saying it’s AI to put a vote there for pressure when it’s not reasonable to hammer, especially after last game.

as for the other person. He listed 2 reasons both of which are just not factual. I would def scum resd that but he’s new so not sure if he’s just not reading, going for a reaction test, or just trying to get something to stick. But his reasons are far worse than yours.
