why do u townread Thoth?

Mine says it verbatim which is why I said he and he confirmed it. Could that be piggy backing sure but usually the first person to acknowledge it is town. What if I was baiting and lied about what was in PM to get scum to agree and put them. Agreeing with that blindly is semi AI as it would have to be in his pm Or he risks lying.

See, I don’t understand this. I said it was an odd choice coming rom Thoth, and yes, that it rubs me the wrong way as a result. If I thought it was definitively AI, my vote would be on Thoth. But I’m also not just going to sit back and refuse to point out a post that looks like an outlier unless there’s some genuine pressure on Thoth. For anyone who’s keeping score, that’s the kind of thing I’m much more likely to do as scum.

1) Luna is a lock. 15 mins before the game started. He said he had not received his “pm”. If this was mafia. The other mafia person would also be missing it and he would have to start a discord pm add them and wait for confirmation. He said he was waiting on one person to confirm. So this cannot be mafia as he received it and it started 15 mins after. The fact this was missing on debate craft is a town lock. It’s possible he’s scum but it’s so unlikely given all that lining up I’m dismissing it unless something overwhelming changes that

Actually was just thinking how we can abuse this. This role feels likes is designed to be not amazing cus no one is town locked. Like I can give it to scum. But with two 2 confirmed people. This just makes it easy.

1) scum can target me with a kill and waste their night action. It stops me from singing but I can’t die. This will mean there is no nk at the cost of them preventing information. Rest of town will have results.

2) they can roleblock or redirect me. If they redirect me we just need to e cautious on who got the results but this also means we will know it happened. I target x and they send me to why. We now know a redirect is in the game

3) they roleblock me. Wonderful. It’s a roleblock that’s not used on town

I think at the end of the dp. I call a target and we put protection on them and it ensures they get it. The roles downside is scum can get it but with 2 mod confirms. We may as well bust the game.

there are other things that prevent it. But not saying what yet. As it gives mafia info. Only saying that in case one of those happens and someone’s questions it later

You know what else does not add up? Three votes to a majority. The only way that could have turned into an accidental firing squad is if three people voted within a window narrow enough that they either did not see each other's vote or could plausibly claimed not to have seen them, and people would probably treat those triplets as having one or two confirmed scum.

Potentially plenty, if scum straight-claim their characters. The chance of scum straight-claiming their roles is inherently close to zero, but Kohai said in the OP that flavor is Not Affiliation Indicative.

What does that have to do with anything?

Kohai said flavor is NAI, which makes me think that, even if we knew one scum character, we would not be able to guess the other, but I could be wrong.

At the risk of providing fodder one of those nasty anti-claim mechanics, I'm going to say that my character is one of the more well-known ones from the 90s/early 00s. I'm willing to infer that most or all characters in here are also well-known, which makes the pool of likely inclusions shallow enough that fake-claiming characters could be risky, especially since Kohai said nothing about mod-provided fake-claims. Town might also have an investigative role that can check characters. This means that scum are likely to straight-claim their characters. Therefore, town could plausibly have anti-claim mechanics.

That is not a logical conclusion lol. If Town has a character cop, then the game is designed where scum have to fake claim. Even if scum are forced to claim their characters, that doesn’t mean town has anti claim mechanics.

But where does it say that town have anti-claim mechanics? The whole point of anti-claim mechanics is to harm town.
