How? It’s pretty simple. From a town perspective:

Target isn’t lynched (6/7)

Scum not killing the person who gets the rolecop (5/6)

Thats a 30/42 chance or 71.4% chance that a townie gets the rolecop off.

If scum kill me, it’s even better cause it reduces your POE.

Wouldn’t it be better for the role cop to target wf and verify ascetic claim?

Mechanically I think all we really have to go on right now is that Mikal said he saw someone visit Pie and Vader says he visited Pie when he redirected. These are the only claims that are verified by other claims. Also, nothing seemed to happen to Pie or Mag1c, so if Vader is lying about Redirector, exactly what scum ability did he use when he visited?

Vader - Town pile. Again seems to be cross-verified by Mag2c nee Mikal nee Casey. Mikal saw someone visiting Pie and Vader would have visited Pie when he redirected. This may be the strongest verification on anything we have so far, and would be undermined only by Mag2c and Vader being scummates, which I don't see. "We will not be lynching Vader" is not something you say about your scummate.

See here’s the thing: there’s no guarantee that he redirected Mikal to Mharman1. What if he never redirected Mikal? What if he redirected me to Mikal? Cause Supa claimed AFTER Mikal said he Inspected me. That would give the exact same result.

Thoth said he had at one point considered putting Kyosuke in the game as Hated Vanilla because the fanbase hates him. That would've been the real cruel fate for me, I think.

I still don’t want to lynch him this DP, largely because if his role is real, I want to give us as much info as possible if he flips. That being said, I don’t buy his claim. The combination of it being this highly tailored role (which comes off as something scum would design given all the info on the table), his being the only adult character and his receiving a contract anyway makes him stand out. Behaviorally, he’s come off as outraged town, so I’m balancing my read on his claim against that.

Testing my role isn’t worth it. If we do get it, using the Role Cop this way is just wasteful.
