I figured I was going to be the NK, but before going out I tried to protect Mikal.

I was pretty much playing to townlock someone in my sus list if for whatever reason I wasn’t the target.

Ended up choosing Mikal cause I figured if he’s town he’s the second most likely target for mafia.

And now that I’ve subbed in, I think I made the right choice. In my defense, my read on Mikal was the lowest confidence, essentially based on Pie being scum, and even then there’s no guarantee. Just a tinfoil.

Anyway Mikal opted to inspect Pie again. No one visited Pie last night.

Anyway I’m thinking Kohai + Rex/Pie, being bussed by either.

Perhaps Madoka made a contract with Kyubey after all, in her last moments. Perhaps, as the first of the main cast to die, she was always fated to become a witch.

I'm unclear, does this change the game? I'm familiar with Kriemhild Gretchen being Madoka's witch form (it comes up in at least one of Homura's time loops), but is this just flavor or does this signify some extra power for scum?

Figured you were either Kyosuke (love interest for Sayaka and Hitomi) or Tatsuya (Madoka's younger brother). Madoka's father Tomohina was also a possibility, but I can remember barely anything about him at all.

*Second most likely. I had figured if the mafia had any brain cells at all, I was gonna be the one who died. I was essentially banking on them making a mistake, and going for someone other than me.

Now the whole reason we VTNL’d was to delay lynching to get more time to make a decision. If I’m preventing a flip, it should be one that town confirms someone on my sus list.

Why would Mikal be the second most likely target over someone like castin or whiteflame? Castin was 100% town read and would never get lynched.

In what world does mafia kill Mikal over Castin?

I don't see good reason to sus Mag1c's choice of target when he was Madoka since we've already confirmed that he was town with his flip. You'd have to believe he's lying about his target on his previous character to give his current character some towncred, which I don't think he needs to do and would just be a weird choice.

If mafia wanted to kill Castin, they’d be wasting their time.
