Idk why we lynched Kohai last DP when he said he could prove his role today. Not that Dreamer is provable, exactly. But town didn't know he had Dreamer.

It was him or Ceru. We needed to get a lynch off. And tbh, it was probably a good thing in hindsight, cause I would’ve relentlessly pursued a lynch on him after he claimed Dreamer

Okay, well Rex is apparently town, so assuming it isn't something boring, my reads are something along the lines of

REX

Rex, along with everyone else, was inactive DP1, but Rex said his role was confirmable and he did something to Wryly

I don't know if its something that'll confirm his role, but for the time being I'll assume Wryly got something that confirms Rex is town. Eventually I would like him to fully out his role and character, but for now I can accept what I am given.

THOTH

Bro, I got nothing on him. I don't remember anything that stands out and he hasn't posted yet in DP2. This will change if he has anything to report, but hes null. Probably will ask him for a character claim later DP2.

PIE

Pie has been more active and something I seem to recognize is that his logic as scum is worse then his logic as town. I get that he wanted to avoid a NL DP1, but I don't understand why he didn't push harder for a Cerulean lynch. At this point he should just drop the Policy Lynch because Cerulean is still alive. I think Town!Pie realizes that losing a miller would be preferable to losing a dreamer report. Another thing I am thinking about is that while Kohai can't exactly confirm his dream, he was town, and while I remember someone faking being Dreamer, its still rather risky, so in some universe Kohai is alive, and if lucky, has a dream. I think Pie is coping, but whatever.

WRYLY

Has been active, and confirmed whatever Rex sent him. Don't know what is sent, but I am assuming its not something Wrky can lie about. I don't sus him and expect him to be near the top of my town pile for the duration of the game.

VADER

I don't have much on Vader. Same with Thoth, hes floating around not doing much.

CERULEAN

I still think we should have policy lynched him, and I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with him. I'll grill him for .ore information regarding his claim, but in hindsight maybe hes town and I obviously want town to have as many PRs over negative utility roles.

PIE

I mean go read DP1. My preference was for Cerulean. That’s who I voted first. I don’t know what you mean by “pushing harder.” I was the only one pushing lol. But based on who was online there wasn’t a guarantee we would get to 5 with Ceru. There was an off chance we could get to 5 with Kohai, so that’s who I voted

Ok I’ve read the DP. I am kinda giving Shining a pass because they’re known lazy town and probably wanted to get off a mislynch, but I’m also hard pressing Pie and Rex. Rex made like 2 posts and then at the last second drops a vote. Pie was a hard push on Ceru the entire time and then even after Kohai says they can be confirmed, he changes his vote

I agree, but it was just me and REF on him and we were the only two around at that time. That means we needed 3 votes in a span of like 30 minutes. Kohai already had 2 votes. 2 plus 2 is 4 meaning we only needed one person to show up. I would’ve preferred Ceru, but logistically it wasn’t possible

I obviously think that the last second Kohai vote was inherently scummy and should be FoS'd, but I also do feel like Pie is a bit more calculated as mafia. I don't he makes it as blatantly obvious that he is hopping on a mislynch as scum unless he has legitamate reason, and that is the big IF imo. Was his reason valid enough. I'll have to take a reread for sure.

3/4 ignore what I said. I still find it weird that there is probably no counter to a dreamer in this game besides killing them. Gravedigger is an SOP, but I also hate how it was claimed and I think it is more likely than not the question was asked if they had a cop in the game, WF told them no, and he pivoted. Would have to ask about Dreamer mechanics with that but I feel like I'm wrong and my reaction was gut

I also have a slight town read on Wryly. I think them trying to push for activity and get the flow going in this DP is pretty indicative of town play because it requires active thought to try and coordinate. I think that I am also in agreement that scum would have likely taken a back seat until the time was right to get a vote off, and this is what I saw in Shining and Rex. I just think the logic is townish and I also don't think they are throwing that out there to throw it out

Ceru is just holding me up again, and it is annoying because I hated how he started off as "sarcasm" about a more utility miller, then he pivots to it being a Gravedigger, which is a complete 180 from how he described it. He has experience on other sites so I feel like he would know that there is a major difference.

Eh, fair points. After I unvoted Rex I got busy and was absentee for the final vote. If Shining hadn't come in I'm not sure we would've gotten a lynch off the ground.
