2. when questioned on it you pivoted to "well the scum partner could be the Godfather" which wasn't what you originally said and was again pretty weird
3. this all struck me as tryhardy for a Ceru lynch
4. you resisted soft claiming
5. you were on Ceru hard and then pivoted to Kohai as soon as he said he could prove his role
6. on the other hand, you've probably been the best contributor and most active, as you said, your behavior seems townie to me, and there's a good argument to be made for Kohai being a last minute lynch of necessity

So I noticed this wasn't on Lunatic's DP1 list and I guess it's because this character doesn't make an appearance until season three, but WF confirmed the character list does cover the whole series. While it's possible Jim Moss could be a fake claim -- he doesn't seem like a central character for the first several seasons -- I doubt scum would want to claim a protective role since one is probably already in the game. I'll town pile Shining for the moment.

That in itself is unlikely. And I think youre misinterpreting what I was saying. If Ceru’s partner is a GF, it makes sense for scum to ask if a Miller is in the game. Because if there isn’t, then Ceru as regular scum can claim Miller and render the Cop useless.

But the situation has changed. Ceru claimed Gravedigger. Either scum can claim that. If scum have a Ninja, then it’s likely that theres a Tracker/Watcher. In this case it makes sense to ask about a Gravedigger and just SOP that.

I never said Ceru could be a GF claiming Miller. Could he do it? A plane could crash on my head right now, but it’s unlikely.

To the contrary, I was probably trying to keep Ceru alive more than Ceru himself was. I said from the beginning that Ceru is a policy lynch if we don’t have a better target:

I didn’t do it because I didn’t agree with Luna’s method. It makes it more vague, which only helps scum. I would prefer to use the same soft claiming so we can force scum to stick to it.

No, I read Kohai statement. Then voted Ceru and pursued a lynch against him until the last moment where I switched to ensure we lynched. A no lynch only benefited scum there.

Ok so the wording of post #89 in DP1 just threw me then.

I thought Luna's method would at least have prevented scum from waiting until the majority of players had softed and then just going with the majority answer. If someone's soft was too vague it could have been singled out and pressed.

I think their contributions have been enough. As a new player, I remember when I was first scum I didn’t want to talk too much and was careful with posting. Don’t think wryly is doing that

iLikePie- I think no matter you have to put Pie in the FOS. I understand his logic for voting Kohai in that situation but I also know that quick lynching after proclaiming “Kohai” always seems scummy and pivot off your pivot target is a red flag. On the other hand, as scum I don’t think he actively tries to push the game as much as does with reads. I also just think him jumping so easily on that wagon isn’t how he would go about that as scum. He’d be way more calculated

Ceru - I honestly could just be overthinking this, but it’s known he has experience and even after rereading DP1, I get his points in this DP but it still doesn’t come off right. Why, even in that position, do you not just claim what your role is??? I just don’t understand the logic there. The logic is that the question he asked to WF was if a cop was in and the answer was yes, so he didn’t want to out a miller. But even then, the miller would have CC’d that by the time he switched to Gravedigger. It’s just not adding up but if I read into it I think I overthought it

Shining - don’t love the claim to be honest. Thought I could rule it off to him being lazy but he’d do the same lazy thing as scum too. I also think it’s an easy cover for a RB. his justification also reads WAYYYY too much like a Role Cop or some Lawyer role

Rex - this is tough but sometimes Rex as scum does obviously scummy things to make yourself overthink things. Lack of activity and a quick vote with limited input in the game (ironic from me), but to jump in a lynch without any justification is so weird

so I’m fine with either 4 at this point

I think I’m leaning toward Shining over Rex at this point
