Also, I know I just said Wylted is Town, but him saying “no no protectives on a Miller” is sus. It’s LAMIST and also weird. Town should ALWAYS be okay with doctors/bodyguards/whatever on them, unless they are not Town and just saying it because “look how towny I am, I am Miller, go heal a Cop you idiot!"

If Wylted is scum, why in a million years would he say to not target him. Having a protective role target him as scum would be a wet dream

Alright I just got home and going to start doing a proper read through of this game.

Pie - I haven't been on the same page with many of his reads, though I ended up coming to a different conclusion about those than Luna, especially given he's continued to be adamant about Shining and Magoroth past the point where it was any kind of simple task to get them lynched. I'm balancing that against a surprisingly accepting response to Wylted's Miller claim and a relatively low amount of activity, which could be driven by him just being busy. I don't think he's done anything particularly scummy, he's just kind of off to me. Null.

Genuinely, I wake up, work, go home, eat, and work some more, and sleep. Same thing for the past week with no break. There’s just a million things to do cause we had a layoff and I’m not trying to lose my job in this shitty market

The issue of me and Shining's similar passives remains unresolved, as does the wacky Poisoner that visits one person while poisoning another. I can only assume "Shadow Poisoner" is some custom shit that visits several people but only poisons one. I wonder if it's justified because of some poison-themed deception madness in the show. 

Or it’s just pure flavor and it means nothing. Or Mago/Luna are a scum team. There’s like so many what ifs, which is why I dislike custom roles in general. It’s hard for both sides to work around them.

I’m not sure you realise, but Thoth flipped Town. EVERYONE had all day to suggest alternatives and nobody did, except for Awesome/Kohai who is probably Town...

They have done literally nothing this game. Why are they town? Pie, who has posted more is nuller than it’s possible to null

Literally the only anti-Town role thus far has been Wylted’s Miller claim. What is going on. Town is already ridiculously overpowered with all these roles, and seemingly at least half these people had enough favour to carry out their night action.

I find this sus. At least one of those claims is a lie.

The most obvious pairing is Wylted/Shining. A 2 team scum team with a third vote and rock solid fake claims.

Outside of that, the only thing going for Wryly is the similarity to your disability. There is basically a CC there too with Shining. I think she is definitely in POE, much more so than Shining/Wylted.

If REF gave Cop and Miller as fake claims to scum, I’m just gonna be like it is what it is and move on with my life, cause like I would genuinely have no words

I am in a private PM with Whiteflame. One of us is an odd night mason recruiter (Rex calls it a Neighborizer), even night avoider, with a passive of prideful. One of us is an Odd doctor/Even bodyguard with a commuter passive. I am going to keep it ambiguous for the time being to keep the mafia guessing about which of us is which. 

Our characters are:

Consort Shun: Su Luyun

Concubine Yu: Keliyete Hailan

Interesting. Whoever has the protective roles is more likely to be town imo. If WF is the protective, then WF/Luna are solid from a role and behavioral perspective. If we take Wylted and Shining as town, that leaves exactly Wryly, Awesome/Kohai, and Banana. At worse a 66% chance of catching scum. At best, the game is over.

Assuming I die of poison tonight, we could be at 7v2 right now. With a mislynch and a Town death, that’s 4v2, MyLo.

And that’s assuming the poisoner can’t poison again. With a Town Vengeful, maybe a scum Poisoner that can poison multiple times isn’t that far fetched, especially considering all the crazy roles we’ve seen yet.

8v3 at start is also possible, but then the poisoner would have to be one-shot (possible); in which case right now it’s 6v3, with a mislynch we lose, so technically there is a possibility, but a slim one, that we are actually at MyLo right now. It would certainly help explain how many people seemingly confirmed each other’s roles. 

Idk, it just feels too easy for it to be Pie/Kohai/Banana.

9 players remaining. Let’s assume it’s 7-2 right now. If we Mislynch today, it goes to 6-2. Let’s say the NK goes off. It’s 5-2. Let’s say you’re town and you die, it’s 4-2. Assuming Shining is still alive and is town, it’s effectively 5-2 with the double vote and you still get a lynch.

In a 6-3 scenario it gets much harder obviously. I still believe there’s a TP somewhere. If we eliminate them today, we should be safe.

I dislike Banana’s Siren claim. Here is what a Siren does per MafiaUniverse. Funny enough it’s the role of the day on MU today. This is what Siren does:

”The Siren is an independently aligned player who may submit one name each night. If the named player visits the Siren on that night, they die. Once the Siren successfully kills two players in this fashion, they win the game.”

so lots of roles are doubled.

I agree, that's the townier role, though the chat itself is confirmed. The reason we didn't CC Wryly is because it's significantly different: her role establishes a chat pipeline between two other players (including the Emperor), whereas the Mason role cannot be used on the Emperor and recruits to the user's chat.

i c its my turn to full claim tho so im an odd night siren. this allows me to learn the emporers night actions and veto them. rex said this ability is seperate from the favor thing so that means he has other roles besides the favor giving. i can confirm this one by basicly roleblocking vader, so while i can do it, its probably anti town to do it and i dont see a reason why i would need to use this one. vader has seemed pretty reasonable so far.

That's an odd role to have on town. So you just straight veto favor allocations? I get why you didn't use it, just seems like this has negative utility for town.

my second role is even night benefactor, and i can give one favor to any person i want. at imperial noble i am an ascetic and am immune non lethal night actions.

Given Awesome/Kohai's claim, that's two Benefactors. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a lot of favor delivery roles around with how complex the setup is this game.

In theory, anyway. You're not likely to use the first one, as you said already. Your allocation of favor is confirmable so long as there's no other way to explain it and it doesn't get manipulated.

Alright, so we know that Awesome used the Benefactor on me. That tracks, though I really wanted to know why he chose me and why he apparently regretted doing so. Popular's an odd passive, but no more so than Miller.

Two town chats is just so loaded

How they work is entirely distinct. You could have recruited Mikal and Vader to a separate chat. I can recruit to my own chat, though I can't target Vader. The DP1 OP specifically says that roles cannot target the Emperor unless they specifically designate him as a target, which is part of the reason I bought your claim. Mine does not offer that option.

Largely agree with this, though I don't buy Wryly as scum, so we're talking you, Awesome/Kohai and Banana at this point.

A little wary of the Strengthener given that it wouldn't be a first for scum to use it as an easy fake claim, but with a Rolestopper, Redirector and RB already flipped, I can at least see why there might be a Strengthener. The Lynchproof would at least be confirmable if you could use it and I can't imagine REF giving that to scum, though I'm guessing you don't have access to it now.

The Siren role does ping me as odd, but I don't think Banana just grabbed a role designed for a TP and imposed a role tailor-made to this game over it to retain the name. The role looks scummy to me mainly because I don't see any town utility, but it's not because it's called "Siren."

I guess you have a point about the double-voter. I have my doubts Rex would give scum a double-voter AND a Poisoner. So far, no Poisoner has claimed, so the Poisoner is scum. That would require town to Lynch correctly literally every day.

Based on claimed night actions, the following people are probably not the Poisoner, who is confirmed to be scum:

-Wryly

-one of [Whiteflame, Lunatic]

-Shining

Because it would arouse suspicion. Town cares way less about arousing suspicion with their statements, they may not consider it at all in certain cases.

I do still think he’s Town, so I guess it’s just him saying not to waste time saving a Miller.

Thoth would have been a great one to pump favor into in hindsight. Sigh. This is going well for scum. 

I have no reason yet to townread whiteflame, Pie, Banana, or awesome5000/Kohai. Lunatic I like behaviorally so I'm putting him aside for now. It feels almost useless to push for claims since full fake claims were provided, but we can start with Kohai's claim.

Yeah like, we have two confirmed Town deaths, people seem to trust me now which means they believe me when I say I’m Poisoned, yet the game is giving vibes of “this game is solved, lynch in the PoE”? It don’t make sense

I do think Banana is scummy, though, and would be down to lynch there.
