@Mestari
Bro you've been around long enough to know that the optimal play is to hide mod confirmability as long as possible. You're rusty.
Like, I don't understand my guy. "I don't want us to waste time getting reads that may be alignment indicative on me when I can confirm myself later. Let's limit the mafia's ability to make mistakes, and it's okay because maybe town makes the mistake too!"
Instead of making broad statements, break down the facts here and risk/benefit analysis of what I am risking by claiming. I thought about this long before I claimed, since I had my role pm since yesterday. Like I said, mafia can't kill me night phase 1 so I got a free night phase anyway, plus if I do die I can pass guild leader anyway (also I already know I am beating the other guild since they attempted to recruit me np1 and wasted one of their recruits since I can't be recruited), I can't even die until np2 at the earliest, and I don't really care if they target me anyways. And like I said, you underestimate towns ability to fall into the trap you mentioned as well, in fact its almost more likely the earlier the game is. I would rather not people waste night actions based on faulty reads on me when we have scum to catch. Plus I am notoriously always scum read as town, and when I finally escaped that trap I rolled scum last game and won, so naturally I feel like I am going to get scum read again and it just feels like a waste of time and energy that I can focus on actually scum hunting.
Feel free to dis-agree or double down on your point, but I think there is merit to this decision.
