So the case here was that this statement: -- "First ability is the one I said was confirmable. Second one was the thing I can do at nights that doesn't require recruitment" -- implies that her Rally the Hunters power doesn't require recruitment, but her Widely Admired does. This could have just been phrasing ambiguity, and I'm not attributing anything conclusive to it. As a Solo Leveling character, none of her abilities should require recruitment. I'll wait for her to clarify this.

I'm here and caught up, but I also have to go back to work in five minutes. I have more to say but I'll respond to this now. I've been ruminating on the fact that Alyssa claiming her Widely Admired role only works if she's recruited makes absolutely no sense from any perspective if she knows she wasn't recruited. Not even WIFOM can explain that kind of blatant error, it just makes no sense. I actually do think that Wryly is right here that this is an ambiguous phrasing issue. Also, everybody is talking about the weirdness of a combination Popular/Lynchproof, but no one has brought up how powerful that is for scum to have. I still don't like her behavior but I can see a world in which she's town. Want to think about this more. Will be back later.

I think it's much more powerful for town to have because you can fake out a hammer and expose scum. As scum if you still want to lynch them you can just ramp up the votes once the lynchproof is activated again unless the clock is running out. Actually, I'm going to ask Mikal if such a role would deactivate at MYLO/LYLO.

Yeah, mafia tends to give up more easily. Town tends to think that scumreads on them are BS and will defend for a long time. Whereas mafia knows the scumreads on them are legit, which kinda frustrates them when trying to find a way out. So if it's damning enough, they're more likely to give up than town. I saw a lot of it during the MU anniversary mash from a while back. Outed scum would just shitpost until they died.

First is called Widely Admired - I require one additional vote beyond the normal majority to be eliminated during the day phase. Once this ability triggers, the vote count resets and this ability is consumed.

My question is then why you were not lynched. Mikal says he counted it as 10 votes. That's one more than the normal majority. Instead, it reset.

Popular + Reset. I can't decide if the two are contradictory or redundant. If it's just going to reset, why not just reset at majority? Why the extra vote? And if it's going to reset, why advertise it as "I take one extra vote to lynch"? You effectively take 10 extra votes to lynch. One more than majority, then nine more after reset.

If Alyssa is scum, then her role isn't much help because even if it resets, town will just vote you again.

I've made multiple allusions to say that I don't need to be recruited for my role to work. No where in the post that Luna quotes do I make the claim that I can only motivate people after I've been recruited, if anything I've explicitly said the opposite. The closest Luna's argument gets to it being a 'slip' is the Popular claim, but even that's such a monumental reach. My soft claim made two claims - I had two roles that I referenced with those claims. Neither of them rely on me being recruited to function (as we've already proven with the Popular claim happening).

The way you wrote it though sounds like a direct contrast. Is English your first language?

why would she claim the first part of the role, of being immune to one lynch? if she was scum it's probably? more likely she just, doesn't claim that part, get "lynched", then scramble for players to find anohter majority

Probably for the “confirmable” aspect of her role. The problem is that there’s no verification for her other role either and the use of that role was suboptimal as well

I think at the very least if mass claim is u popular I think we get claims from awesome, shining and banana at the very least. Maybe Vader. But these are the most inactive slots. Might be good to lock them in so we aren’t constantly worried about scum skating under the radar

Mestari went from lean town to solid town after Thoth's flip, since he was the one who caught Thoth. Shining is now solid scum in my book. Not having a read on Thoth is much worse now that we have the flip. And me being poisoned makes me think I'm on the right track scumreading Shining, Helz, Pie, and Kohai.

The semantic argument is weaker than the waiving of the Motivator. I’m still reading on what she exactly said. Cause Motivator is also confirmable.
