I'm here and caught up. Just a heads up, tomorrow starts my week of hell, so I'll be relatively low activity until Saturday. I'll try to be as involved as I can, but I can only promise so much.

I agree that behaviorally, Alyssa seems strange for the most part. That being said, I still struggle to believe that she and Thoth are paired for the reasons I gave yesterday - she would have had to have tied herself to her partner in such a conspicuous and suspicion-drawing way. I obviously can't write it off as a possibility, though. Waiving last night is definitely a questionable decision, but tbh I also would have assumed that the guilds more than likely would have recruited rather than electing to use night actions. Will have to think on it some more. In the meantime, I'm fine testing out her Popular role.

Are you asking if there's a character who would make sense to have the "Popular" role on the scum team? I'd say that depends on how much weight you give the Ant King as a character. He did draw a lot of attention back when he started showing up. That being said, I wouldn't say anyone's a slam dunk for it.

How funny would it be if Alyssa was actually some Vengeful Mafia that just did a kamikaze play? (No real chance of that but it did pop in my head and make me giggle)

DP1, Thoth referred to Mestari as a "fearkill target." This prompted an inquiry into how tf he knew this, since he's never played with Mestari before. Everyone immediately speculated he learned it in scumchat. Since Alyssa is one of the few people who knows Mestari well enough to tell Thoth that, she was sussed as well. Thoth was lynched DP1 and flipped scum, so Alyssa full claimed DP2 in #14.

So, some important context is that early on, Thoth referred to Mestari as a potential fearkill, which is something he shouldn't have known, having never played with him before, suggesting that he got that info from a scummate. Alyssa mounted a strange defense of him, saying he might have asked Mikal who Mestari was before the game started (he was in the Discord). Naturally, players noted that Thoth being scum would potentially implicate Alyssa as well due to her defense of him.

Obviously lots more happened, but right now I'd say that's the most important thing.

Oh, and Kohai (I believe) started a pressure wagon on Shining that grew quickly. That got brought up as well.

Yeah. The last game Mikal’s popular justification was because of how hard it is for them to be defeated. The question is is there a possible scum character candidate that this can fit with
