That's not even it, and it's deep in the wifom. There's another detail you all have missed that doesn't have anything to do with "What would scum!Pie or town!Pie do?"

Then please enlighten me. We literally have a claimed cop with a red check on pie. So either

1) Pie is a miller (denied)

2) Pie is scum

3) The results were messed up

to also note: The only way a cop could get a guilty on a non miller is if scum redirected the cop onto themselves or magically found the miller / hidden miller.

Just wait and let them hash it out. There's no need for me to defend Pie at this moment. I believe he's town but there's nothing to gain from me explaining why. When Rex is back he will confirm he told his guild mate that he was investigating Pie and we'll go from there.

okay so on the rex/pie issue, looks like we have one claiming a guilty result on the other. the dp has stalled as we wait for this to come to a conclusion. i get the arguments for both sides about who should claim first. i guess i dont really care who does and am sure this will get resolved eventually, so i will withold my reads on those 2 for now.

mestari basically led the lynches on thoth/alyssa so if hes scum hes throwing, so i think hes town

kohai, i didn't like his slot at first because of claiming town cred for the thoth lynch despite starting it for different reasons, but his behavor this phase is a lot better so im starting to rethink him, or maybe its just because he has been suspicioius of the same claim from shining as me and im being biased wich leads me to

shining has a very wierd claim and it seems odd for town to have. he logged off b4 claiming his justification also which i dont like and he should have led with that. i think he is likly scum

awesome doesnt have the strongest claim either but the justification seems to make sense. i wil say if hes scum its something that a scum partner helped him with tho because i didnt even know that airmax funded the website and i have never seen awesome before this game so he shouldnt kno that either

casey risk has had a steep drop off in activity, i am losing my read on them but i thought they were townie dp1 because they were asking a lot of questions. i liked the instance to ask people in dp2 who we would kill if we weren't going after alyssa, she seemed to be going to the right direction with her thoughts. i would like to see more from her this dp tho to really have more of an opinin cuz shes faded to the background

wryly i still think shes town for what i said dp1, her overal activity has been a positive and she seems deeply invested in the game. i think she would be more hesitant and careful about how she is posting if she was scum after recent games but she seems genuinly town here

magics activity just kind of stopped or slowed majorly after dp1, i was initly feeling like he was town but i would like more from him as well. hes kind of been a non presence lately. he may be town confirmed because of the poison thing tho so i think we could benefit from hearing more from him at this point

helz as been strangely in rexs camp this whole time. he seems more invested in it than it than i would expect. that said its strange to me how quick hes willing to doubt that pie can confirm himself. he has been going out of his way to encourage patience from ppl but seems pretty eager to jump to conclusins now, i am not a big fan of that. before this whole thing i was town reading him, so maybe he just reallly believes pie is scum and its clouding his judgement, idk

wf was a big factor in the thoth lynch and gets a lot of town credit for that, and he has been helping with lots of theme knowledge. there are some questions about a few statements he made erly in this dp but i dont see why he would do those things as scum, so he is proly just town and doing a mech we dont understand atm, i will let him do his thing and im sure it will be made clear at some point but hes proly town

Are you assuming another day action? Because that’s the only thing he could be “buying time” for, since he will be lynched this DP if he doesn’t confirm himself. There’s no room to play here, no way he gets around it or just refuses to admit it. If he cannot town confirm, he’s the lynch. Plain and simple.

Nah I'd rather win the game. Have a lot of respect for Pie, just don't like him stalling the game just because he wants Rex to blink first.

And no, we're not lynching Pie. I think Shining is the likely scum here, Pie is only on the table if he doesn't prove his innocence.

Mes is firmly town and an excellent player imo, I'd give him a lot more props if he fellated himself less. Clearly he thinks WF is 3P, unless I'm misreading this.

Ok. So he has something that can be confirmed in the day phase. This makes more sense why people were so willing to back him up. This makes me feel less like I’m losing my mind

For what it's worth, I don't think Pie is pulling an ego move. There's solid town motivation to wanting Rex to move first.

All said and done, I'd rather enjoy talking to people about mafia theory and strategy after the game. I see a lot of potential from a few of you, all in your own unique aspects. Mafia on DC could get quite interesting with a bit of direction.

I also am a bit worried about the guild mate thing he asked a question about. With both guild leaders assumingely dead, what other info can he get.

I feel a lot of people are going to be quick to defend him, but unless it legitamately 100% proves him town then I don’t think he should out of any POE

Im catching up but you 10,000% absolutely do not need 'all the details.' You should be the one giving the details before Rex gives any. The only thing I see you being fed details about Rex doing is giving you room to craft a better lie. If you can prove yourself then you do not need details to do so.

Yeah, Everyone messing about with 20 nicknames kinda sucks to deal with. It would be nice if players made an effort to refer to other playerrs by their current account name instead of expecting every other player on the server to learn everyone's old name or nickname or irl name and all that.

If the host just evened up the odds that would be a very high level of bastard for this game. While I rather enjoy bastard games that is a degree I generally refuse to ever play. I dislike being punished for doing well in the spirit of 'keeping things even.'

I'd rather we not be held, but I understand the reasoning.

As scum I usually look for what value I can generate as I go down. If I can out some town TPR its better for my team. Thats what I am seeing here.

If Pie is something confirmable they should just confirm it. Demanding a full role claim in this situation is rather absurd. I do not see any world where that makes sense and I do not understand why people see it as a bad thing to require Pie to feed his info first.

I do se harm in requiring a claim from Rex. We out PR's and we feed a possible scum outs they can manipulate by knowing specifics on the claim against them.

Im really not sure how everyone is missing this simple issue. We risk harm to the town by demanding Rex to claim first and risk nothing by demanding Pie to claim first. If Pie is confirmable then he can simply show as much and we can move on.
