Would prefer that discussion of who is who or what X did in Y game (specifically when said wrt to a player in this game) be kept to a minimum. It kinda defeats the point of anonymity :(
I understand how you feel, but it would be literally impossible to not figure out who people are based on repeated behaviors and posting styles. We can pretend we don't know who each other is, but it is incredibly obvious. Also its impossible for me not to use someone's past tells and behaviors to read them lol. Like for example, if a player I know has a tendency to do something as scum does that thing, and I know they are that player and doing that blatantly scummy thing, am I supposed to just manufacture a reason to lynch them? Part of being town in this game is convincing other people to join your wagon and follow your lead, and if I can't verbalize and substantiate my reasoning for doing so, it becomes difficult to sell a lynch target lol.
I understand where you are coming from. I wanted to do this same idea for a game a while back but ended up nixing the idea for this exact reason. Figured it would basically be pointless with this crew. There might be one or two people who can fool others in this player pool, but the majority of people will just use the same mannerisms, posting styles, and adhere to their same activity schedules, so at that point it becomes kind of obvious.
At the most I can promise really is just trying to stick to calling people by their in game usernames, but I don't really think its possible for me to ignore past analysis regarding games. If that is a deep issue for you I can correct it, but I think it will sway the pace of the game considerably, because I will have to fake why I scum or town read people for the sake of a rule as opposed to having genuine thoughts and reads.
