I get a message from mod. Saying my bad. I fucked up

Tells david something diff than he does me

I say ima make the mod confirm this mistake cus hes telling people diff shit

He confirms the mistake

That confirms wylted

Confirms I got results

You are green checked

And david got pm verification

One possibility: Mafia could have given me a genuine green check just to fuck them over if Luna ever flipped. So there could be a w!Luna and t!Mag1c world. Regardless, Luna is always mafia if mikal is town and is telling the truth

Mikal is claiming to be informed with knowledge of a tailor. For you to think I’m a messenger you think the scum team has a messenger/ tailor, with 0 counter to any of the killing roles or investigations. And the tailor is basically already useless if you believe Mikal’s info. So being town sided is one thing but for this to be the set up the scum team would have had to be straight masochists to not immediately forfeit lol

You dont have a green check. Your watcher result confirms you to me though based on how you got the wording of it.

Based on what I saw, this order of operations makes sense. The one quibble I have is with that final sentence:

Thoth confirmed a mistake. He didn’t say what the mistake was. Assuming Wylted’s telling the truth, which I do, the mistake was in the wording of his role. There would have to have been two mistakes - the wording of his role and your failed receipt of the Carol - that he’d be referring to for me to buy your story entirely. The post from Thoth could be referring to one or both.

A few notes:

There are no anti-claim mechanics in the strictest sense, but claiming may allow scum to use their roles to greater effect, even more so than usual.

I really doubt messenger / tailor is the only thing mafia has.

From my POV I am only lynching between magic and Mikal. Need magic to get in and full claim.

I think it sucks for the scum team because I think the error plays better to us, but it's a done deal and lunatic has been rubbing me wrong all game and I can't put my finger on why and I feel like magic is town so.....

I’d really love as much clarity as I can get here. The combined word of Wylted and Mikal saying that he should have/did receive a result leans in their favor, but I need to know that Wylted received that confirmation.

When I get confirmation from Wylted, I’ll revisit this.
