Thats a ever present risk in all mafia games. Kohai could be mafia, or a relatively weak role. Town has blundered harder before and still won. At the end of the day mafia is a game about behavior and when town fucks up behavior, they usually lose.

There were 12 players at first. No way there is only 2 mafia. Anything, I get Pie is really busy, but something seems off with him.

I think its likely there is a third party just because only 2 mafia in like a 11 player game seems weak. Even if mafia was busted and town weak, it still gives town ample chances to pull their heads out of their asses and pull off a win.
