I'm working to catch up. Reading back through the much of the DP didn't change my reads, so I'm mulling over what could be happening with this BP CC.

The long and short of it is that I'd have reason to write off both sides as doing something entirely unnecessary to draw heat. For Pie, that's obvious with the CC. If he's lying, he's pretty much guaranteeing his own lynch next DP should Wryly flip town. For Wryly, I didn't even see much pressure to claim, meaning that she decided to claim a role with plenty of towncred on the table already because... Pie asked I guess? If she's scum and she made this choice, then she put herself in a position to potentially be CC'd without any reason to do so.

Anyway, I'm going to go through the last few pages and address some of the more recent posts about this because I'm not landing on an decision yet.

Mafia has some level of claim help this game too. Not sure of the exact level, combine that with a game where the recruit can straight claim their pre-transformation role, an organic CC is pretty unlikely

I thought about this, and this is where I need to poll everyone who has claimed a magical girl: do any of your justifications hinge on the acceptance of the contract? In my case, it just laid out the circumstances of Homura before she became a magical girl and how her personality affected her interactions.

Doing some ISO between Pie and Wryly

Wryly - Kyosuke Kamijo - 1x Bulletproof

Thoth won't tell me definitively for whatever reason, but my guess is I'm not recruitable because I'm a boy. The creepy rabbit only seems interested in luring young women into questionable life choices.

I have a 1x Bulletproof because my character was saved from a cruel fate by a magic girl's wish.

Pie inviting a rolecop is a point in his favor, I suppose, since it was stated that hidden abilities such as those granted to the recruit by Kyubey would show up in investigative results.

I got suspicious after you suddenly started going after Vader when you'd been on Kohai consistently, and wondered if maybe he's the target scum needs to lynch. If we lynch Kohai and he's not the scum target, then town gets a rolecop, and you could get outed tomorrow.

Few things to note: (1) My role card explicitly states that I develop a romantic interest with Kyosuke. This proves to me that (1) Kyosuke is in the game and (2) is most likely originally town aligned. From a flavor POV it also makes sense for Kyosuke to be unrecruitable. Since no one cc'd Kyosuke I'm inclined to believe them. They could be lying about being unrecruitable and was recruited n1, but this doesn't make much sense. They must be 100% original town and is not original scum.

Pie - Mami Tomoe - 1x Bulletproof

Right now I’d probably say my top scumread is Vader. The Redirector doesn’t make much sense here from a town perspective. It just seems like negative utility that should be waived every night.

I absolutely hate the fact that Supa didn’t use his ability last night. He could’ve redirected who he thought was scum onto someone he also thought could be scum. He could’ve verified WF’s role as well. Doesn’t make sense to waive here. The Contract Cop and Inspector make sense together. Doctor is flipped. Wryly is behaviorally very town.

Two very weak investigative roles is my point. I buy REF’s role because I’m relatively confident Thoth used custom roles especially if he use hidden mechanics. I also remember him asking if Luna was the only one that used custom roles and he said he was gonna change that.

I don’t have anything to mod confirm myself, but I would like to wait till DP4 to claim and would ideally like to be rolecopped as I think it would solve the game DP4

This ISO also feels quite townie. Again, I don't see pie counter claiming unless he was absolutely stupid or needed a castin lynch to win the game. The one thing that sticks out is that him claiming it's 5-2 feels a bit TMI when we don't know if there's more than 1 recruit. If there was a night kill and two recruits we would be at LyLo.

There's a non-zero chance both are actually town here. If there was a gun to my head and I was forced to vote I would vote pie because of the information I have on Kyosuke Kamijo's character.

Ko, think this through. If I'm not OG scum, then I'm either town or the recruit. If I'm town, Pie is lying. If I'm the recruit, why would I fake claim my role? That's so absurd. I would just claim my original role, which I know cannot be counter-claimed.

Ironically enough, the lack of change in behavior implies OG scum cause you can run the same behavior throughout the game vs being forced to change because you were recruited
