First let me just explain, I would have been asleep at the time DP1 ended. I specifically set an alarm for 30 minutes before the DP ended, just so I could hammer if needed. At the time casey was the leading wagon so I voted casey. Then I went back to sleep. Had I been present at the very end of the day phase I would have also voted Mago.

Hello everyone, I am back. Sorry for my absence, I forgot about this game. Still catching up on Day 1. Given that it's almost 2 AM where I am and my phone is almost dead, I'm not going to be online for long tonight, either, but I'll be free all of tomorrow. (it's Veterans Day after all.) But in the meantime, I do actually have results

Kohai should not be dead. I figured I am basically the town protective on crack. Every role to include killing roles should have been neutralized that visited Kohai last night. My best guess is that I was redirected or they were swapped before my action hit. We do not have a formal OoO to work with which makes it more difficult to figure out but host did confirm to me that I stop normal killing roles. Figured Mags function would have been an exception but unless Mafia has some strongman or equal role to what Mag did its simply a redirect that happened.

I need to actually read the end of day 1. Kinda skimmed it and figured I would be dead today but I thought it was weird as fuck that Casey got pushed to L1, never posted or claimed at all and then somehow the train ended up totally flipping on its head to Mag who flipped town. I think we should start digging there.

Caseys list is of note. Its 3 players I have interest in today but not at all surprised to hear there is a scum between Bullish, Luna, and Mikal.

While I am a bit suspicious of Casey themselves I also see revealing this 3p as a less likely play for scum.

In contrast as powerful as my role is, how powerful I see Mag and Kohai I sorta feel their role seems a bit underpowered balance wise. Would be curious to hear from others what they think about that role existing from a balance stand point.

So I see this day phase as being a train wreck. We have Casey who went to L1 and back with small reasoning on either side who is putting a 3p pool saying 1 (or more) scum is in a pool after a confirmed town shifted their train. Then there is me who Mag town read and was really critical of the push on while Kohai had some weird notion that my extremely different role to Mag's was in some way a CC while I used my protect function on Kohai who died.

Im not even sure where to start unpacking this one. My starting PoE would be something like this:

Not really great. I think we should table Thoth and Banana for another day once we resolve somewhere in this pool. I am rather uncertain about Mag1cman but I feel this is about as tight of a POE as I can start with given how EOD1 ended.

For reads those who do not trust me I feel we should focus on words from WhiteFlame. They seem like a strong town voice and can hopefully slow things down a bit and get them on track.

I generally dislike claims but I would like a full claim from Casey. Really am still scratching my head how they gave nothing yesterday and somehow went from L1 to a side note. I am suspicious of their claim today although its so much of a vague result it means little.

Looking at the train progression #728 Luna shifts from Rex to Mag. They cite not wanting to eliminate an inactive but voice a strong level of confidence Mag is scum. I think this is the core origin of the shift in trains which does not look good.

Something I am chewing on is why on earth would S! Luna shift off S! Casey and then Casey drag Luna into a 3p PoE. This does not make sense to me.

Digging a bit more I am really unsure if a S! Luna would go this far in on Mag to make that happen as well as how it would connect with Luna and Casey teamed following Casey throwing the 3p PoE. These things just do not line up imo.

Entering a world of TownVunkonwn Mag v Casey with Casey throwing a hard FoS on the person that started the train shift I really question if any form of Luna/Casey could be possible. The amount of play required for that to be a deception/WIFOM I just do not believe.

I have quite a few other thoughts but I think I should wait until others post before saying my piece there.

To say it more clearly I should specifically say I Casey/Luna as WvW in this situation. Also of the 2 Luna looks more clear given there is less reason for a S! Luna not aligned with Casey to shove a T! Mag.

This speaks to clearing the PoE into Bullish/Mikal/Casey in my view. Im still locked in on a few other positions but will wait for further interaction to voice what I am seeing.

On the mech side without asking for what people do I would like to hear if people visited Kohai and were blocked or not. That detail will clarify some aspects of the redirection or if we are dealing with some piercing move.

Yeah I’m probably cooked lol, being on results after lynching ago is not a great look. And my claim is not going to help my either. I am krypton, the compulsive hider. I hid behind Rex last night.

Big justification for it is essentially that krypton is a Greek word for “hidden” or “concealed” and the meaning is embedded in how ie was historically perceived.

As for the mago lunch that is unfortunate. I am sorry but the alternative was Casey and in hindsight is seems saving her from a lynch was a good thing since she an investigator. I think we would have been more pissed losing that role than a strengthened. I did genuinely think mago was scum and I provided a ton of behavioral basis for it. Mago himself admitted his playstyle was different at several points. It is what it is. I think we would have mislynches either way last night unless we were able to sneak some sort of lunch off on bullish or Mikal which doesn’t seem likely.

Theres a chance Casey could be scum here. They did see me pull a dreamer gambit off succesfully as scum in Russia mafia. But I kind of doubt she would try that, idk, it’s probably just legit. We should be open minded to it though. Both Mikal and bullish should full claim as well.

I was advocating Rex almost the entire day phase and was met with resistance at every turn. It did not seem like that lynch was possible. Mago was my second strongest scum read and this was indicated pretty early on in the day phase by my reads. There seemed to be a bit more support for that and I was fairly confident that he would flip scum. Ultimately I just wanted to make sure we didn’t mislynch and the Casey lynch felt awful so mago seemed like a better push.

Both Mikal and bullish advocates a Casey lynch hard. The way Mikal did it was a bit scummier though and seemed like more “TMI” than anything.

This post comes off a bit scummy to me. Setting up in advance his distaste for the mago lynch to farm cred. The Casey mislynch if it happened would have been ten times easier for him to talk his way out of since they were inactive. But he never really had any good reason for town read ago despite doing it early. “He drives actvity” is kind of bullshit since 90% of magos posts were nothing burgers. I just think Mikal set this up to make anyone look bad on the mago wagon while giving himself town cred by looking opposed to it.

This could just be bullish too. He didn’t give me much to work with last day phase either. Either way both need to claim and figure this out. I am probably always going to be paranoid of Mikal. If he is town this will suck because I think we are going to end up scum reading each other hard. I kind of hate dreamers lol but can’t ignore the results either

I want to go over kohais reads. I was fairly confident he wouldn’t be night killed even as a confirmed innocent because it’s kohai and he tends not to be the strongest player. I did not think mafia would target him. So for them to kill him he may be a threat in his reads and a nuisance they don’t want to deal with. I’ll peep his reads later.

I don’t die hiding behind scum, and I seek to only be able to hide from night kills.

Hid behind Rex because there was zero chance in hell he would be killed.

Things im sure of. Wf is very likley town. If he is town. He should he able to town confirm me. Will elaborate more on this when required but not for now.

I can also say I'm also pretty sure luna did not do the nk. Was really sus of him after the mago push and wanted to make sure he could not kill someone. Fact im alive confirms that he didnt carry it out.

I dislike the dreamer claim but need to think on it. Its possible bullish or luna is scum. Was getting bad behavior pings from bullish and the way he voted casey yolo style didn't seem right at the end. Not to even talk about the cfd on mago from luna

But as luna mentioned. I've seem people just hard carry games off getting away with dreamer claims. Completely can have town drive off the tracks.

If I am picking up what is being put down correctly Mikal can vouch for you, can you vouch for him like he claims? If so I’d potentially be willing to cross him off the list for the dreamer results here and focus on bullish. But I would need you to be fairly confident.

So what are your thought on a strengthener and roleblocker-esque role being in the same team? Why or why wouldn’t pie do that as a mod? Curious to see your take on this.

Second this. He was actually one of my biggest scum reads last night but I kept it quiet so if he was he would feel comfortable carrying out the NK. Events in the NP now have me thinking he's town.

If we mislynch three times we lose so dreamer results are a bit iffy to me.
