No votes on Casey at the moment. Did I miss something while reading up? Have we tossed out the idea of lynching them to validate the PoE? That seems a priori reasonable enough to me given the lack of hard evidence against anyone so far.

I can't believe I'm put into this situation where I have to convince mikal that lynching me is actually the correct move from his perspective. And then getting scumread for it.

So, right now it's between Bullish and Mikal for me. I feel pretty good about Luna being town tbh, and if I'm right about that, one of those two has to be scum. I guess both technically could be scum but I kinda doubt it. Anyway, I'm leaning towards Bullish and after an ISO of him, this post (DP1#382) stands out to me:

mass char claim makes sense if 2 of the 3 are true:

chars are not closely linked to roles

char pool is limited, so CCs are possible

there is a clear theme split

In our case 1 is true, 2 and 3 are half true. So I'm not opposed to a mass char claim, but I won't advocate for it very hard either.

I hate this post. 2 is not "half-true"; there are well over a hundred named elements on the periodic table that could potentially be claimed! It's weird to claim that 3 is half-true as well, given that we don't know the theme split and we certainly don't know if it's clear. Plus, theme splits in Pie's games are often very subtle and non-obvious. I see no reason to assume this game would be different.

And saying "not opposed to a mass claim, not necessarily for it" feels very scummy to me after the last game, where Thoth was advocating for one and got sussed and almost lynched over it. This post is just very bad and I hate it.

Its theoretically possible casey is scum and claiming dreamer yes. Do you have any behavioral reasons to suspect her or think she is lying? Thats the problem here, just because someone could be lying doesn't mean they are and we should automatically lynch them. If she is a legit dreamer then its between, me mikal and bullish.

So you are saying that in either case, we still have 3 people with 1 confirmed scum? How is lynching Casey less useful than lynching you in that scenario?

I just have bad vibes about it, which have gotten less bad as this day phase has gone on, but I'm not fully comfortable with their Dreamer claim. We're completely fucked if we lynch all three people in that PoE.

i dont understand whats so hard to get about this and the fact that so many ppl want to lynch casey for kind of no reason is a bit sus.

Well I would rather lynch casey than myself, however it's not me vs casey right now, it's me vs mikal. I don't want to lynch casey because I town read her. Higher chance of hitting scum if I offer myself up to 50/50 with mikal.
