I wasn't a fan of the crypto rule. Being allowed to use crypto that was solvable by hand but you only get a tiny fragment of a cryptogram that has no meaning independent the code is silly. The whole idea of cryptography being solvable is to use a large sample to brute force patterns. You can't hand solve a singular line with added landmines. That's not how cryptography works.

I disagree. It was an anonymous game and where Mago is from people respected that. He wasn't prepared for a community that would immediately ignore the intent of the game.

Agreed. And this eliminates a potential ML. TBH I was gonna go in and try and sell your slot as a ML but you shut that avenue down fast. I was forced to either pick a fight with Mikal or Llewela as we were poed out
Yup. Even Gerard mentioned my slot as a ML. It was unfair for mafia to have me dropped on them at Mylo. The solution is either to not allow replacements or not allow players who often need to be replaced to play. I'm not saying I've never needed to be replaced, but quite a few people get away with signing up and being inactive all game every game.

I'm glad I didn't let myself get paranoid. You mentioned a GF D1 and Lord of Chaos flipped GF/Goon. I'm used to GF meaning "investigates innocent". I realized it was being used to mean "controls the kill" and that you and Mago come from the same place so that's where the GF terminology came from

Part of why subs are inherently pro town. Inactives need to be weeded out of the community because mafia cannot strategize around a player being replaced. Half of Mafia is controlling texture as the game occurs, so when someone gets to join and reread the game fresh with knowledge of flips, that's an inherent imbalance

I prefer to favor individual reads over association hunting. I have been on plenty of mafia teams where wolves just avoid etch other and do not have any coordinated patterns or even make any plays that consider their team mates in order to break hunting.
I also just voiced how one of the few strong association indicators I saw was from Caines vote choice EoD1 so flipping Brand helps solve Caine
It's Mylo. We move from lynching people who help the solve to lynching who is most likely scum.

If Brand is scum, Caine still has to be scum. Brand hit 4/7 with 2 confirmed town, myself, and Random on the wagon. If we let that wagon get to 4/7 with 100% town participation and we let Brand live, town deserves to lose

Early game we had trains offsetting Brand. We had a flipped mafia pushing to keep them off the table EoD1. They avoided anything to do with the dead mafias train D2 and just threw a vote on the pile at the very last second to be on the right wagon.
