Second, why are we assuming the injury came from town? Behaviorally, I really think Banana is town. I could be dead to wrong, but I don't feel good lynching her on the assumption that town caused the injury and therefore the mafia nk was blocked.

It came my my guild, and I have no reason to believe that person is scum. I was the one that made the executive decision to choose Casey because she was not active for 2 DPs in a row.

And then DP2, why point out that Alyssa was sorta claiming Lynchproof, not Popular. So much so that the mod came out to clarify.

This is the behavior part of Shining I can’t really explain. Role and justification wise he’s horrible, 100%. But Mikal also gave Helz basically false information in his PM too.

Theres also the coincidence of him claiming Lightning Rod when I gave him that role in Heroes of Olympus Mafia.

I think regardless, the order doesn’t really matter here. I can see good things about Banana too but the “buts” also give me some pause because it reads like she’s playing both sides.

Yeah, she could have been getting help. Anything is possible. It still would be a change in her scum play. And I still find it hard to scumread her merely for not joining an incorrect wagon.

I think this argument is relatively null to begin with. Claiming credit for it is relatively scummy to begin with so I don’t see her doing that anyways + as others mentioned Helz would’ve been a prime mislynch in the future anyways

ill start with the main topic of discussion which is thoth. i dont like his posts. i kind of get why people are scum reading his thing about mestari being a fear kill, but i also want to believe that he just had a brain fart or something like he said. that is understandable from a town perspective. most of my hesitation on thoth comes from his response to the pressure hes getting. like him being dodgy about his claim for a while doesn't seem like something he would do as town, ive played a few games with him but not a lot. he also was just missing for a lot of last night, and then when he got on to respond to stuff said he was about to go to bed. so if he wasn't on before what was he doing?? lurking? trying to come up with a claim or sumthin? i dont really like that he was making going to sleep an excuse when he should have been on before that if he was technically already awake. but thats kind of making assumptions about his personal life, maybe he was busy or something idk.

Regarding #736: I'm going to be honest, I straight up don't see the first post as being scummy at all. It's detailed, shows her entire thought process, and she leans scum on Thoth. Why should I scumread her for scumreading Thoth? Because she wasn't hard scum on him? That's weak.

I was prepared to start a CW on Mestari as I said earlier. Though you might not trust me here, either... Okay. But you trust Wryly, right?

I get the mechanical argument against Banana. It looks bad for her, obviously. But you always have to look at behavior and mechanics combined. It's like with the weather, you look at historical trends to temper the immediate leading indicators of the weather. Nate Silver does the same thing with political forecasting: you look at the fundamentals, and you look at the polls, and you weigh both of them together, and you consider which is giving the stronger signal. For me, I just don't see the behavioral case against Banana. I know you brought up her defending Helz, but I actually don't think she'd do that as scum.

I think it logically makes sense to that as scum. Even if Banana in a vacuum wouldn’t, she also has partners.

As scum, I'd expect her to follow the bandwagon if the town wanted to mislynch someone. Trying to defend someone for towncred would be a change in her scum play, but being contrarian is normal for her town play. I also think she makes a really good point in #750; she hasn't been trying to farm town cred off that like she could.

Idk, obviously you disagree and that's your prerogative. But I don't see the behavioral case against her, and I think behavior has to be higher in importance over mechanics in this game. The lack of an NK isn't inexplicable if she's town, and I'm inclined to believe she is.

Banana. I know everyone wants to lynch Shining but I honestly don't see it, and he is a mislynch magnet. I think being jailkept and the NK not happening is way more damning, especially since Wryly's results show that they have either a redirector or a busdriver. If they had a redirector, why not redirect Supa to ensure their kill goes through? If they had a busdriver, the question is moot. The only thing that makes sense is that Banana was the NK target which I think is unlikely enough to kill her over it. If she flips town, lynch Shining. If we lynch Shining and he flips town, lynch Banana. I think if Shining is scum it's unlikely that Banana is as well. I also feel like her trying to derail the Helz lynch was a bit TMI.

Ya that’s what I was thinking too. There were some not so good things with Banana early on in DP1 and DP2? A small out for Thoth and a small out for Alyssa. Almost like putting out a feeler to see if people believe it

Mikal confirmed that if player A jailkept player B and player C busdrove players A and B while targeting B with the nightkill, the nightkill would hit player A. So if Supa was targeting pie for protection that also would have been moved to Banana while Pie died. So that's not what happened.

Ya he said if I JKed Banana and scum Bus drove me and Banana, I would receive a notification that my action failed.

A couple things are bothering me about this DP

Mestari claims he knows how many actions were taken, but he hasn't said yet. Why? Mestari, is there a reason you're keeping this info from the town?

Where did he say this? I’m pretty sure he just claimed his ability.

If I was injured by town, why has the perpetrator not fessed up yet? If I was injured by scum, why are there two roles on the same team that are identical in everything but name? I'd appreciate it if Magic could elaborate on what he said earlier
