Alr Mestari. You're pretty good when locked in. But I was not locked in this game. Was preparing/playing a pokemon tournament until mid DP2.

Locked-in Mag1c has not dueled locked-in Mestari yet. >:)

It will likely never happen. When I consistently play locked in I am just killed or copped NP1 every game.

So much talk about guild sabotage; my reaction is really? I didn’t see it. I felt like we worked together well and took out scum. I don’t think guild friction was nearly as much of a factor as mstari thinks it was lol but then again he was saying that alot throughout the game for some odd reason.

What are you on right now. We stalled the game multiple times over the guilds refusing to disclose information that could advantage the other.

A few points of note: If Mikal was going to confirm the nature of Wyrly's role, it should have been disclosed up front. The way things were revealed all but confirmed that she was town. It seems Mikal also mod confirmed Helz when he left the guild. My conversations with him about Awesome's role also led me to believe he was describing a role that actually existed within the game.

Thoth had a point that the slip actually came from Mag1cian but it was a lucky level of right that sent the Mafia into a tailspin.

Magic confirmed that he said that in scumchat because Alyssa told him about me. So it wasn't really luck, the reality was still directly tied to Alyssa.

That was a joke and everyone knew it. Like I mentioned in the game, it was a callback to when I used to play and I infamously claimed godfather as the actual godfather and the game ended up having a lie detector.

With that said, I had no idea role PMs had gone out. I had not yet received mine and I assumed Mikal wouldn't send any out until he could send them all out. So that's why I tried to move on from the topic as quickly as possible. I didn't know group PMs were on discord and not on the forums so I assumed clarifying that I didn't know anyone had PMs at all when I made that joke would hard confirm me as town. Knowing what I know now, it would be easy to add me to the Mafia discord after the fact.

If someone were to host a themeless game with 5 day long DPs I'd probably hop in.

Reads are a fickle thing. It is very productive to hand a few town reads out early. Narrow the scope of your investigations. Choose some people to collaborate with. There doesn't have to be reason to townread them. You can always and should always revisit them later.

I think Magic trying to confirm Kohai was a mistake. After Banana even if we went Whiteflame then Magic has forcefully reinserted himself into the POE. I know he thought he could get a mislynch on me, but even overworked I don't think you want to put yourself on the block with me when I have my do-or-die enthusiasm kick. Mestari at Mylo/Lylo is a different person.

Yeah I saw that. Tbh the guild wincon mechanic really killed a lot of my interest in the game. Like I mentioned early on, when I saw it I considered immediately replacing out. When it became an obvious issue DP3 I kinda mentally checked out.

Somewhat feel bad for lynching Helz, because as I told Mikal I knew I was leading a mislynch. I just deliberately wanted to lynch someone in a guild to try to screw the guild over enough to hopefully stop the guild pvp mentality.

It was fun being back, but with my current work schedule it became obvious that 72 hour day phases just don't work for me right now. I'm pulling too many 15 hour days to consistently show up for the day phases. Maybe when I have more time in the fall I'll join another game.
