Smiles again.

Between his fictionalised execution and the compilation of the European bible there was over a thousand years of non-stood time testing.

And like I stated some very early books when kept securely in a suitable environment will keep for quite a while...And of course the advent of improved printing techniques meant that newer copies became readily available.

So we can apply the notion of stood time testing to various old narratives and not just biblical mythologies.

SergeantLynch

For sure, GOD principle suggests purpose.

Though Jesus is a character from Archaic Middle Eastern tribal folk tales, who never even had the nous to save himself.

Put them together and you end up with a contradiction.

SergeantLynch

Yes such is the basic human, that has evolved intellectually but not biologically.

And such is the effort that it still takes to even get to the moon...And our orbiting tin can is now giving up the ghost.

Yes, all that investment required in human earthbound gratification and self destruction.

Hmmmm Mars...Elon scratches head.

SergeantLynch

My atheist non-mission is to point out the obvious absurdity of the Middle Eastern based theo-political model upon which the Catholic business empire is based.

But brainwashed numpties being what they are, means that my atheist non-mission is what it is...Which is nothing more than a mental workout for an hour or so in the morning.

6.35am and signing off...Have a nice day y'all.

SergeantLynch

Yes, all the European fantasy bible tales based upon Middle Eastern folk tales were obviously compiled "on earth" generally by men...You are stating the obvious.

Whereas truly seeking to understand the mysteries of the wider universe requires scientific conviction rather than miraculous expectation.

It's the generally disinterested with better things to do, that will readily accept twaddle without real evidence...But OK, some do take it more seriously, which is fine if they do it peacefully...But there's certainly no guarantee of that.

SergeantLynch

Yep, generational data transfer relative to theo-political oppression relative to the fallibility of the human brain, dictates that people can easily be programmed.

And GOD the word, is an English adaptation, that has latterly come to represent any deity.

And if Jesus the bloke was in fact a real character, then that is what he was...Just another easily deluded brain...Just like you Debs.

SergeantLynch

Well yes, as in GOD the general principle of material creation and evolution...But not as in GOD the floaty about magic-man of Middle Eastern folk tales.

And neither you nor I has seen the magic fella, and neither did Middle Eastern story tellers, who made him up because they knew no better other than to blame it on a magic-man.

SergeantLynch

GOD the magic-man or GOD the general principle of material creation and evolution...I would only discuss the weather in the context of the latter...But for sure the religiously brainwashed would perhaps blame it on Mr floaty about magic weatherman...But in all honesty, I never consider GODNESS when discussing the weather.

SergeantLynch

Material evolution is irrepressible.

And human existence is already reliant upon technology.

Older people like us know the differences between now and back then...But younger generations are already unable to function without advanced technology.

Only an environmental catastrophe could force a cessation of the process...But that would only be temporary.

OK, so sci-fi, but sci-fi based upon sound reasoning and the indisputable process of material development.

So a thousand years from now when we a no longer memories, do you think that everything will be exactly as it is today?

SergeantLynch

Well yeh...A bunch of women are in the main, going to promote feminism...And Hitler was.

And even butch women with prosthetic dicks are into pussy...So maybe on the QT Hitler was into Eva with a strap on...Or perhaps I should say, Eva was into Hitler.

Feminism indeed Remy...Left wing, right wing in the centre.

SergeantLynch

Yes, within the context of philosophy, truth can be anything one cares to thoughtfully construct, and relative narrative output can correspond correspondingly.

So...Truth blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Nonetheless, if someone were to come up to you and hit you in the face with a wet fish it would be hard to deny...Whereas philosophically it could simply be a metaphor for gender dysphoria.

Hmmm yes, I tend to have a downer on academic philosophy...Which I tend to regard as a separate exercise to that of constructive thinking.

SergeantLynch

Understand what has been created, and perhaps discover new things to understand...And thus promote intellectual evolution within the context of universal evolution.

SergeantLynch

Mythology is mythology, so a mixture of fact and fantasy.

Nonetheless, the basis of Christianity is still a fantasy GOD.

And relative to human social and intellectual development it's a bit silly to compare more recent mythology with older mythologies and conclude that more recent mythology is likely to be any less mythological.

So, people places and their GOD or GODS...Same old, same old...But better quality books perhaps.

SergeantLynch

For sure, the basis of everything is a creative event followed by a very very lengthy period of material evolution...Which relative to thinking primate and it's language can be referred to as GOD...Could be BOB, DAVE or SID, but GODFREY will suffice.

Though GODFREY the magic man didn't emerge from thinking primates brain until billions of years after the initial event, when some bright primate had a thought.

So there's GOD... And then there was GOD, who has existed in thought for what seems to us a very long time...When in fact, in universal terms has only been around for a nanosecond.

SergeantLynch

Yes. such naive hypotheses and their subsequent generational transfer and social importance will last for as long as evolution demands.

And of course, more recent religious ideological beliefs are by the very nature of belief, rendered so intellectually contentious and "hot".

And for sure, theo-politics over the past two milliennia has and will have a lasting effect.

Though the current hottest topic in the UK is undoubtedly the weather...And for the most part religion still remains as a Sunday morning get together.

SergeantLynch

If there is a GOD, that is.

And I suppose that you will always base such notions upon the mythological humanoid of old Middle Eastern folk tales.

So GOD is creation and evolution, and therein came thinking primate and other species...And now we have created technology and our probable successor.

In a super-techno universe if indeed there is a purpose to everything, I'm guessing that the ultimate GOD will also be super-techno.

SergeantLynch

Yes, we either escape or we don't.

And depending upon sustainability and human demand for Earth's resources, the majority of humans and all other species will depend upon the Earth for survival.

Though in terms of cooperation I'm not sure that we are any better than we ever were...Maybe selfishness and collective selfishness are a necessary quality of the progressive species.

As it is, we temporary mortals can only speculate.
