You read, didn't you, that the >30M in the US who live under the poverty level do not have even a free high-school education. Nor, apparently, did you read that such dropped out of school before completing high school.
Huhh? I dropped out of school to make money and buy car, pay for ciggerttes etc kinds of stuff to take care of myself more and more. If there was a governance that did not allow that, and offerred more help to families whose children were not doing well with their grades, would be better for all of humanity. I was not a problem teenager with my parents, neighbors or any lawenforcement then or ever in my life.
I dont recall for sure, if my mother signed some paperwork from school saying she gave her permission for me to quit school. I was 16 years old.
I had years of nearly flunking out in every grade. My mother kept me{ 7th grade } and my sister { 3rd grade } back a year the same year. I felt like there was no point in my continued schooling cause I was learning so little and I needed money more than the little I was learning and mostly not learning much at school. In 9th grade my friend an I were asked by teacher to find old lawn more engine and take apart and rebuild to learn something.
My friend and rebuilt the engine and ours was the only one that restarted one time, then we could never get it running again, and, I was wearing sandals in school and my foot slid into the cooling rotor blades and tore into side of my foot. The teacher then banned sandals in his class.
Humanity is greedy. I too am part of that greed. I went on three minimal costs cruises on ships for the experience of sea-ship and exotic places of another country. I read ahead of time all of the negatives of cruise ship industry yet I wanted the experience more. Once was one greed, going three times was excessive greed on my part, in world where humanity is destroying the ecological enivironment that sustains them.
If you want to address those concerns, then you and I have to address these and many other excesses ---greed-- that humanity should not being doing as it is taxing our ecological environment. You apparrently are clueless in these regards? That is what I believe. If Im incorrect then address those comments as presented in previous posts in this thread.
Their choice. So, I don't need to hear what any amount of money could be spent by taxpayers for those who choose to limit their own contribution due to laziness.
Yeah, you have no empathy for others apparrently from your above comments. Humanity is too greedy and yes, billionares ---in general-- are most likely the most obvious problems with humanities greed, that, is destroying the ecological environment.
If and when you want to address those issues, please do. You do not and the question becomes, why you dont address those issues I address in this thread.
70 billion is better spent for all of the reasons I mentioned above and much more, in educating our children of all ages, and the adults with truth of the ecological environment that I believe if going to cause the end of humanity sooner rather than later, on our precious bio-sphere Earth.
Intellect is worthless with out empathy for the family of humanity, in that we all share the Earths resources. ....all for one and one for all... is the only way humanity will survive longer term rather than shorter term, with the least amount of sufferring. Now address that comment. Please as this about intellect combined with empathy for all Ive mentioned above.
