Being likeable is superficial at best and will only get you so far, the same goes for looking good. In the end skills and substance are the things that attract important, useful, genuine people if in fact that is the kind of people you are trying to attract.

I am interested to see how this plays out. NYC elected a self described hard core socialist/communist. It has been argued at nausium that socialism/communism hasn't worked because it has always been implemented wrong or run by the wrong people. I will withhold my opinion for two years and give the new socialist/communist a chance to show us all how socialism/communism is really supposed to work. He has had at least 100 years of history to draw from to correct all the mistakes of the past. It will either work or it will be the same horrid socialist/communist shit different day. I predict he will quickly run out of other peoples money giving away fee shit left and right. I personally don't think he has a fucking clue or a plan on how to implement anything he does and make it sustainable. But again I will wait 2 years to see where NYC is at then. But with all that said, if he refuses to take an oath under the Constitution of the United States like he has, he will never be mayor. You must swear to protect and defend the Constitution to hold elected public office. But with that said fuck the rule of law, laws or only for the law abiding.

So did the protest succeed at achieving anything? I think what you call a protest and what exactly you are protesting does kind of matter. A litany of policy dislikes is pretty vague. I mean I fucking hated most of Bidens policies but he was President and I hard to take his policies strait up my ass. Now its your turn to take Trumps policies strait up your ass. Sounds to me like Democracy is only threatened when you don't get your way all the time. People voted for most of what you are complaining about. And just so you don't think I am Trump dick sucker I fucking hate a lot of Trumps policies to most especially send my tax dollars to Israel and Ukraine and just like all other Presidents signing bills that are spending this country into oblivion. Reliance on govt for anything other than infrastructure and national defense is a life of misery and disappointment. Your reliance on govt is your weakness and govts strength and power over you. Better to starve and suffer and figure out a way than rely on Govt for anything.
